I've got to disagree/agree on this one. Both guides have some prices that are off. Yopriceville is somewhat updated but yorehab just likes to pricejack items.

It's hard to tell if a price is off. People cling to them so hard that it's difficult to tell whether the price guide set the price before the players or the other way around. I'd like to see this game without price guides, people will go mad.

I've seen yopriceville update the guides after the prices went up. Like for example, when the old Hawaiian stuff was going up, there were admins on the forums debating whether people were trying to jack it. So they waited about 1-2 days and saw that people were actually buying it for the high amounts then updated it. Yorehab, on the otherhand, that's a different story.

Any outside pricing guide is only after one thing.....easy coins

People use these guides as bibles when in actual fact they are just scammers and cheats....and all play the game...pricing items they stock up on higher so they can increase their own coin balance

My Pink Rets are 22 Million if anyone is interested....Im not gonna let some guide dictate what an 09 collectible is worth to me

Im quite certain if they asked the majority of their followers to jump off a cliff....they would

When does school go back anyways?

I have slightly different take on the "hot items" section. I read it as saying that the item had a greater price increase than other items recently. In other words, I assume that the list is about price increases as well as number of sales. *shrugs*

If I have any of the items listed on the hot items list, I hold on to them for a bit and watch the price when they are offered. The hot items list is just one piece of information I use to decide when to sell and at what price. Like any information, sometimes it is helpful, sometimes not so much.

Well when i used ti play in 2012 and used forums, I would see ninjas tell me they will pass on my concerns right before they didn't :P Hopefully she was being serious but I am sure yorehab already knows the players concerns

They're only concerned about how many coins they're getting from pricejacking.

Hot items are just items our team has seen a lot of events or posting in groups that people are buying all of the sudden. Not everyone may see the same things as hot each week as it does seem that some items are in high demand one moment, then ice cold the next.

You can always message us on any of our FB pages or PM any agent in forums. We are always glad to clarify or answer any questions. We love feedback too. (like how do you feel about the hot items being listed on the site?)

And Agent Alby DID pass on this thread, as she said she would. Hence why I'm here.

Yorehab's my favourite page for Yo-related stuff. I don't use their Guide, but they helped me quite a lot when I was new to the game with all their handy guides and stuff.

Thanks, just wondering if these are confirmed sales or just random postings/events you guys see?

Helpful information - thank you! :) If I understand it correctly, the list is based on changes in frequency of agent-observed sales postings, not price changes. And change metrics are notoriously unstable, as you say.
