@ J is Dazzling explain why it needs to be plastered everywhere? everyone knows its happening, almost every company has a diverse set of employees. Does it really matter if a company doesnt post something on every single thing?

Yes it matters. It is about showing support. BVG’s Facebook page has 36K likes, they chose to post it on a platform with 800 followers, their post got barely 50 likes. Each and every person should speak up about the current situations, knowing that they have a massive platform they should support their customers.

Yes, it matters. If you have the energy to post support on Instagram you have the energy to share the same thing EVERYWHERE to make sure all your CUSTOMERS can see it. Maybe even put a popup in game? It is the almost like whispering vs. speaking up in a firm, normal voice. If you are going to speak, then SPEAK! In this case, use the microphone. You don't have to shout, but make sure your customers all get a chance to hear you.

It matters to me and I'm sure it matters to a lot of People of Colour on this game as well. I saw a post this morning of BVG employees and I was shocked to find out the group is not diverse. The picture had me thinking about a lot of things about this game. What do BVG think when it comes to their black players? Do they value us as much as the rest? Why did they not hire someone of colour who would design wears for the black players? Right now, we do not have a lot of items that go with our complexion. Yes, I have not spoken about this before because I have kept quiet and worked my way around these items. But there are numerous items that i wish i could own/wear but i cannot because the colours are off.

That being said. It is also important to shed light to the fact that we have a A LARGE % of racists on this game. Believe it or not, I have had to block a lot over the years. And now that there is an opportunity for BVG to speak about it, why aren't they? The problem here is the fact that I even have to ask for them to post it. We see the world standing up against racism now more than ever. We see businesses standing up against racism too. Why hasn't BVG? Even during COVID-19, BVG said something about it. We all received toilet papers. Have you forgotten? So, why are they avoiding this one if they claim to acknowledge their black players? Actions speaks louder.

Exactly! Great point about choosing not to post on FB. They should have chosen this platform at the very least!

I'm with you guys, 100%.

And for anyone who wants to say All Lives Matter (the Karens of the world, I'm lookin' at you!)... well, no one has said any differently. But not all lives are being targeted by the police, racist hate groups, or being racially profiled.

I can walk into a nice store, drive a nice car, walk down the street at night, get pulled over on for speeding, etc etc and not fear for my life. This is white privilege. And every single white person has it.

A black person can walk into a nice store and get racially profiled where they then either get security called on them or they get followed around by the store manager/employees, they can drive a nice car and get pulled over just because they're black & driving a nice car, they can walk down the street and get harassed or have the police called on them because "they look suspicious", they can get pulled over for speeding and think "is this how I'm gonna die today?". This is why BLACK LIVES MATTER is a thing, not all lives matter. Black people are continuously being oppressed and racially profiled and enough is enough, people.

From getting kneeled on, to getting shot in their own home/bed, to getting shot for selling CDs, or getting shot for having a BB gun and someone assuming it was a real gun, to getting shot while holding a cell phone in their own backyard, to having some white lady call the cops & tell them that an African-American man was threatening her life just because he asked her to put her dog on a leash... it's ridiculous. And these are just the instances I can think of, but there are many, many more.

And for anyone who still doesn't get it:

I think there is a soap in BBC called eastenders and this person is always getting pulled over by the cops and only thing he was trying to do is run is food buisness. Hope this week sends a message to cops and other places and such that we are all the same we have hearts brains eyes mouths legs arms and many more we all the same!
