Might be many reasons .. 1 not much with furniture store, wall paper, houses, etc. 2 people being rude in sales 3 can not make much coins. etc etc I know BVG is working on this. .

everyone is hoarding their items because theyre becoming rare, hence the lack of sellers
and prices are going trhu the roof hence the lack of buyers.

ive sold a few pieces and made some good money but it all went back down in a day!

over 5 items on my wtb...

is either buy and sell overpriced or hoard.

For one, everything is just way too high. And for two it's always slow around this time.

I'm not into the buying/selling part of the game so I don't notice anything different.

I can only address this as a yocash dealer that's not dealing...... not selling. With so few ways to make coins right now, yc rates as they are, and real money as it is, it's hard to pay 20-30 yc for an item and be assured it will sell quick. I usually find something great at 1-10 yc sell them all day long the day of release. Even with the inflated yc rates, I can still feel like my real money investment is paying off. If I end up stuck with an item at 30 yc, that's real money on something I probably don't want anyway.... Unfortunately, that means I'm not spending as much to support BVG as I used to with Zynga either, but until we see what's next, I just can't convince myself to take that risk. Therefore, I'm not selling.....

I'm not buying either. I've bought at least one of each of the new released items, both coin and yc. I've watched my coins going down, and I've bought more yc even though I still had a lot left over at the end of the Zynga era. (trying to do my part) However, none of the items so far have excited me and I'm starting to feel I need to hold on to my coins and yc in hopes that one day soon we will see something in the furniture store or a new house or something. I'm nervous about how much that will cost when a hoodie is around 10K now........ I can't imagine how expensive a new house will be (if we ever see a coin house again) and heaven forbid how much a yc house will be with the current yc prices in the stores.

All the horror stories of the AH mess and items disappearing but no money showing up in accounts... well, I'm staying away from that as well for now.

I imagine I'm not the only one feeling this and that may be the root of your problems. I was a huge beggar to BVG to save the game, but as I watch this pricing, I'm not so sure it'll last long. Also another reason I'm not spending more real money on it.... somehow it feels as rocky now as it has been the last several months. I'm hoping it'll smooth out soon.

it just takes perseverance and right timing sometimes --- but I don't think it's a lost cause --- ppl DO get what they were looking for ............sometimes eventually, sometimes fast

Over time I have seen the worst yo economy in the summer about August. This time last year the market dropped bad. I remember selling a miss mafia for 6 mill. There is always ups and downs. It seems tho the prices are unstable and that can be part of why no one is selling. I have tons I dont use I keep telling myself to sell something since im running low on coins but I am not the hustlin doll I used to be...

It's an up-hill battle to find any of the items I am ever looking for, so I get to the point where I usually just give up and eventually forget what I was even looking for. lol. It's a pain in the A to buy or sell lately. Like obnoxious. I think people are all holding on to their coins for dear life, or something. I don't know. It's a soap opera to deal with people in events. and AH is often pricejacked because people have no shame.

Prices may be too high for our own good? Not sure... I think things may be shifting and changing and we need to evolve with it. But yeah. Buying and selling is a ridiculous project these days. Do I cry for themes to get re-released though? Absolutely not. But It is increasingly difficult to shop for discontinued items for what ever reason.
