i'm not a fan of ppl who post on the wishlist thread for items then a couple weeks later host a total inventory sale with my gifts included, already tired of their stuff (???)

When people do that it makes me so angry, I don't really mind if I give someone a gift and they GIFT it to someone else to enjoy

I don't even mind that much when people sell gifts I send them after a long while during a sale or something. But I hate it when people ask for things just to sell them.

I, personally, do not sell the gifts that people give to me. USUALLY I try to send them back because I don't like accepting gifts..

That being said, I don't mind if someone sells what I give to them. I don't gift often in-game because people are sketchy.. but I gift to friends or people on the forums and if they want to sell what I give them to get a different item that they want, then that's fine with me. :p

Nope. I really love all the gifts I've ever gotten. Doesn't matter if it's big or small. Just the fact that someone gave it to me makes whatever it is extra special.

I don't sell gifts and while I realize that once they leave our hands, they no longer belong to us, it still irritates me to the max...hence why I give nothing to anyone unless I do not care about it or they are trusted friends...

To be honest, Never have I once kept a gift, if I really think about it.

But I always keep it for very long periods of time, (Unless I didnt ask for it in the first place ex: dont like it) then sell it when I need the coin badly.

Honestly, I dont mind people selling gifts from me, then they can buy something they actually like... :roll:

I have however, gifted a gift to someone.
I LOVE that he loved it, but I feel real crappy about doing it.
I won't do that again.

I have a few items that if I sold them I could make some big fat coinage but not going to they were given to me
fair enough if I end up with some spare item that I've got more than one of I might sell one but normally no I wont sell gifts
I don't spend all my spare time in the wishlists begging either so don't get many and don't feel the need to be given either

it depends i guess, i have sold gifts if it was friends just bombing me to be buttheads or something i never wore or used. i have also asked to return it to them first though.. I would have no problem with anyone selling a gift but in your case, i would have been mad because they actually asked for it.

I did once and I regret myself for doing it.
But I learned from my mistakes and now I treasure every gift I get.

EDIT: I recently gave my pink groovy headband to someone who was buying it at a trade center.
It was a gift I got from the wishlist thread from the old forums. I never used it so I gave it to her for free.

If somebody gives me something that I don't need, I'll give it to someone else.. but, I've never asked or begged for anything. That's just not me.

There have been a few gifts I have sold only because I already had the item but I NEVER sell anything that was given to me that I didnt already have. IDC if it is worth 10 million coins, that gift stays with me forever.

It would depend on the circumstances if it would bother me. If someone asked me for something specific and then sold it right away I think I would be a little upset. If they had it and used it for a while, then sold it, it wouldn't bother me at all. When I see the prices now, on the collectibles I gifted when I left, I hope they did sell them to get new things if they didn't want to keep them.

I don't sell gifts.

The only time I have ever sold a gift is when the person gave me the item to sell for coins. They wanted to buy me a certain item they knew I wanted and couldn't find that item . So they gave me another item of worth to sell and told me to use the coins to search for the item myself.LOL It all worked out in the end. I sold the gift and made enough coins and a few days later bought the item they wanted to gift me.
