As I was reading this, I knew this was going to set the boards on fire. Like most laws... this is being implememted because a few people can't keep their ish together. The rest of us wind up paying for it. I'm curious, Have you reversed a decision because of player feedback? Because the paintboard is an integral part of the experience... not for me particularly, and I will continue to play regardless, but I think this issue is important enough to have a dedicated compliance person where these boards can be reported and removed, rather than wipe it for the whole game.

So instead of punishing the players who abuse whiteboards - cuz there is a report button on the boards *for a reason*, we are all being punished?

This will effect:
Buyers
Sellers
Game hosts
Giveaway hosts
Pageants
Decorating in general - all of my movie theater will be effected
Probably so many more uses I cannot even think of that aren't nefarious.

People who have hundreds of boards in their inventory - paid for with both coins AND yocash, no less - have to forgo items they've worked hard to create, whether it's the time taken to photoshop, save images, HAND DRAW images, and customize so many things to our needs in YoWorld. I think BVG needs to take a step back and realize how harsh this move is and how THEY can better monitor whiteboards instead of swiping them from under us without any actual regard to how this will effect the overall player base. Don't give us the "this is a hard decision" spiel. There HAVE TO BE better ways to remedy this issue.

This is not fair, nor is this okay. Just ban the players who are abusing, it is simple. I am very highly upset, I worked for 2 weeks straight going through my inventory making boards for my sales , I dont use facebook this is the only way I can get coins, PLEASE fix this. I have put too much time and effort into my boards, I just went to my sale room in game and everything is blank.. ALL of my hard work is gone. Please BVG find another way or just ban the ones who are abusing the boards. This is unfair to so many players. ALOT of players use boards to host in-game sales because alot of players dont have any other way to sell items. I am asking all the vikings to come together to fix the board issue or to find another way, Frames dont even work anymore either.

PLEASE REVERSE YOUR DECISON - PLEADING WITH YOU - You are killing the game many of us have game rooms bingo, showdown, races, pageants dependent on boards. We have artwork we love from Yo-events like Weddings special boards we made of family and friends. Why erase all?? You only needed to make a "report abuse" button like the white boards had. We don't want compensation we want to keep our boards. You really are letting the trolls win? Punish all of us? Many in tears at the thought of losing all the boards we worked so hard to make over the years in a single key stroke? Can't play our games there is no reason to be here. Please Stop before it's too late. Please don't let it be too late

i just went in to check & it seems my boards that were already saved are all still there with the pics/art on them but the blank ones you cant save anything on them :angel:

also ya some people just ruin the game for others..... beepin kids!! :grr

*edit* ok it seems on the app or yodotcom platforms the boards are erased but thru fb they are still there but who knows for how long

also i dont like to use paintboards for decorating as i see it as a form of cheating lol but yes sometimes it adds character to a room

I paid hundreds of thousands of coins for my boards just for you to wipe them out .....punish those who broke the TOS not just blanket punish EVERYONE ....... Do the right thing not the easy thing

This had a memorial of my dog Goliath and Cat YumYum Hammerpaw. Now it feels as if you don't care.. I get it though, but can't you just go after the ones that are creating the issue and not everyone??

omg

my good friend Skull with the help of Rod Serling worked hard on making my gnome avatar into an npc for me (2 outfit variations).

it was the best quality npc i had. it was one of my favorite items in yw. your npc quality is so pixelated or blurry, the image was corrected for the angle and made with high resolution. was that against the rules?

AND i just spent a ton in yc and coins on paint boards to finish up the exterior rooms of my grandmother's house. all just to add grey lines to blue wall tiles. i chose several yc boards because getting them to line up with each other was so difficult.
there is no blue wood siding in game.

I need reimbursement, especially the yc, but also would appreciate at least two shades of blue wood siding as a wall tile. i will need to redo my entire exterior of that house. omg.. idk why we have to get punished for a few who broke the rules.

please create wood siding in at least these two shades of blue
white edging would be good as a separate item, in various orientations.

have you already made the changes? my grandmother's home still looks like the paint boards are working.
i think i have 10 rooms that used paintboards just in this one house. :heartbroken:

This isn't about "mistakes." Some players use paint boards to dox other players, posting their intimate information and pics. Others use them to display truly unspeakable horrors such as animal cruelty. Some take over other players PB's and to delete and write over them.

And then there are the players that have appointed themselves the morality police and report any PB's that they find offensive due to their sexual, yet harmless, nature.

So yes, as with all things, the few have ruined it for the many. :grr

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Please not my halloween boards. If you come up with something else to use and it is yocash I will scream. Items that used to be coins are cash. It is turning into an all cash game, that is why we used paint boards in decorating especially if you don't have money to spend on cash. I sincerely hope you will find another way and reconsider this decision.
