I just looked at Jade's picture she posted in the 'Not another pink Christmas' thread, of the original candy palace that was in the survey that we voted from.
What a nice festive palace showing in the picture.
That is not the same palace you gave us.

It would have looked so much nicer and more like a palace if you had not come in so close.
All the towers that made it look like a palace are completely obscured because your view is way too close to the front door....the whole profile of the Castle is completely hidden.....pan out and let the whole palace and towers show if you are wanting a believable palace.
You went in way too close and ruined it.

I love it! I voted for this theme !
It 's not the usual boring "normal" aka "main stream" , it does not look like anything real life. It 's a fantasy game, so I welcome fantasy. If I would like my houses to look like better living or whatever it is called in these lifestyle magazines, I would buy myself a magazine and call it a day.

Well, I know I did get sick of the pink, but you took a break from the pinks for a while so I'm welcoming the pinks. I love the front, I love the 2 yards, and I like the wall papers, windows, and doors, a little more architecture inside would be nice. I got so excited about decorating I used other themes to decorate with and I'm half done already hahaha.

The candy theme is nauseating to me, but i'm sure those that love this theme will create masterpieces, will be fun to see what ppl do with it.
In the future if you create themes like this, could you please not force us to have pink, give us completely different options that don't intermingle colors we're repulsed by.
I am always happy to skip themes but still have hopes for something warm and cozy for Christmas and more ornaments to decorate trees with, like a better assortment of ornaments than we had last year with the VIP, more colors, more shapes.

I will totally ignore this first Theme out and hope for a much better one down the road. Like you said, first the Knit GEM theme ( ugh) didnt participate.. and now this .....
Seems to reverting more for the kiddo's lately and what a shame too, seeing how at least in my world, the kiddo's dont spend the money or have it to spend supporting the game.
In the meantime, I checked out the HC2022 xmas theme in the stores and found even with the curated items there are some very nice xmas items there to decorate with and was suprised at the time I didnt have many of them. Its worth a second look...

I am super happy for those who love it, but it is an absolute atrocity for me simply because of the pink. If it had been true candy cane color, it would be a homerun for it's whimsy. I'm probably most upset because I like the design and can't stand the color.

TRUE STORY - I wouldn't eat a mint green candy cane once as a boy because I was worried someone was trying to trick me.

when i look at the house i think of striped toothpaste.
anyway, so much for being nauseated with the theme, i ended up caving in to the idea of doing the gem event this month for the few items that are worth winning, so i challenged myself to figure out how to decorate with this candy cane theme and ended up spending yc on the pack deal

Speaking of the Peppermint Palace...it todays Gem event to qualify you have to BUY yc seatting items. It would not take benches or anything else that was COINS. I stopped playing .We should not be forced into spending yocash! As for the palace itself..it's hard for my brain to capture the frivolity of peppermints! I was hoping for something more mature.

I voted for this theme and loving it so far! the graphics are amazing, everything is so fun! I typically don't like too much pink but totally digging this theme. love the peppermint slot items as well
