That is weird about needing 10 more points. Did you miss any challenges? At 40 silver bars for every score over 4.5, you should have a total of 320 silver bars from the 8 challenges – more than enough to get the last prize.

I am 10 silver bars from getting the final prize. I did have one challenge where I only got 4.4 (with a FULL bonus meter). So if we only had 8 contests then I would not have gotten the last prize.

I sure hope that BVG revamps the entire voting and awards for GE contests.

Regarding the prizes in the Gem Chests, there are at least 7 identical outfits of different colors. I think I have gotten 1 so far. But I dislike so many duplicate prizes (even if they are different colors).

GRATS Jade and Beanmom, always nice to see 5.8ers up in here. The rest of you had lower scores than I like seeing though. I didn't go this challenge, but did get bored and vote. I saw several hours of meh rooms. You all deserved higher scores doe(I meant based on, no clue what I was smoking when I typed this, but keeping it cause it's hilarious LOL) the gorgeous ones I am seeing here. :hug:

Beautiful rooms everyone! Too bad the voting system sucks. Should have been more 5.8s.

I have been super busy with work and family but I did manage to throw together a quick entry and scored a 5.3.

It's the first challenge all month I did not score low - mid 4's. I do ALWAYS fill up the bonus bar.
I've stopped showing my entries if I don't make a minimum of 5.0, which I did for the first time this month with this room.

I've gotten very discouraged by my scores always being so freaking low. It gives me little incentive to keep doing these challenges.
The only reason I did them this month was to try to get those rare EJU2025 hairs, which I did not get so kind of disgusted that I wasted my time and money on this month's challenges.....am seriously thinking about quitting putting my time and money into these challenges all together....it seems my voters want normal plain and boring.......normal looking rooms seem to bring the highest rewards, and I'm an ultra fantasy lover, and every one of my entries are very far away from normal or bland........I feel like I'm being punished for the fantasy I put out there in front of my voting pool.

Next month's challenges seem to maybe have some nice prizes...I may, or may not participate at all next month.....I don't seem to win the prizes I'm wanting, so what's the point.
Sorry but not sorry (LOL) to sound so despondent,
but this is how I am feeling these days, about the challenges, and the game itself.
The game seems not to care to cater to a player like me. It only seems to care about the gambling lovers, sellers, and people who like very sparcely decorated, boring. bland, same cookie cutter house over and over with almost no decorations to decorate with......I find the game I loved for so long uninspiring these days.
This is nowhere near the game I started playing, and continued to love for many years, it's changed, itt's a stranger now, and what it offers as game play does not interest me at all.

yeah w/ out the boost i'd not get the gems most of the time.
i realize now that i'm looking at it that my trees should be rotated, for the shine coming from the sun (i always see things later, not during editing LOL)
however the room layering doesn't hold anyway, it'll get deleted.

I'm having the same problem with the layering not sticking after you leave the modular room, then come back. Your layering gets wiped out.
I tried to relayer my challenge room because I liked mine this time enough to not want to delete it.....I put back in inventory the required things I had hidden using layering behind the things I wanted showing, and relayered my room exactly as it had been submitted in the challenge, and made it my default room....after leaving and coming back to visit it, all the layering was set to 5 again, and the room looked so bad. So I deleted the room, and will rebuild it in a room that is not so flawed.
What's happening with these modular rooms? Mine are not holding their layering. I see others make their challenge rooms their default and they looked layered fine....my guess here is the room was built not using the layering tools, so it retains it's design.

One more glitch to deal with in paradise!!

yeah you would have they changed the total you need to have to 300 when they stuck the extra 2 quests on think it was 290 before
