The Fairytale Village Large Window in YoDepot is 25,000 coins. Seems very over-priced, and it's not all that large (other than by comparison to the 'small' window).

I seem to be accumulating a collection of abandoned castles. Along with the beach houses/resort and mansions. I am glad for those who will enjoy this theme, yet I yearn for something different. :bye:

Not a fan of the castle or the tiny yard. The bonus "Village House" is so much cuter than another generic castle.

I am also thoroughly confused as to why we keep getting fully upholstered couches and chairs for our front yards? Is this a thing in Canada? Because in the US, an upholstered couch or chair in the front yard is usually at the curb waiting to be hauled off... :?:

Finally, I'm not a fan of this new trend of having to pay real cash to get the bonus item. The YC house has nothing particularly unique about it to make me want to pay YC for it without the bonus item, and spending US$25 on every new house is unsustainable.

I came here to comment the same about the outdoor couches & chairs. That's ridiculous.

I agree and no it's definitely not a thing here in Canada! The outdoor furniture that I have seen for years is mostly wicker (resin or polyethylene, plastic or vinyl) with removeable cushions!

The bonus item does come with the yocash house. The way the popup is done lately doesn't make that clear, but it came with the yocash house when I bought it. :)

I made my bonus house - the one i got when I purchased the 13 yocash house - the entry to my free castle room and I am putting my "outdoor" couch and chairs inside it. I also found another cute do nothing house in my inventory and I stuck it near the bonus one that came with this theme. I may or may not attach a teleport to another room to it. I may add a front yard to the main castle as I agree totally about the shortage of grounds we are being given.

Hi there!

The YoCash house still has the house exclusive, as usual.

It's just that you get a BONUS house exclusive when you choose to purchase the house bundle.

I bought the house, I really like the little house that came with it. I will use it to cover up the castle. I don't mind the castle but I have plenty already so my intention is to cover the castle using the little house that came as a bonus item.

To deco this I will have to layer things to make them go where I want and to work properly. I love the layering feature, so many decos from the Z days I had to spend time trying to find the right spot that will allow an item sit on a table instead of going under it. Or hiding things under other things, like pylons under floor tiles so the player is directed to walk a certain path that is laid out using the pylons, which are hidden under the floor tiles. (when making a river scene the pylons can be used to prevent the player from walking onto the river)

All this is to say that the layering tool does not work when playing the game on Facebook. So I went into YoWorld.com to start my fun...

I get into the game, open up the edit feature and within secinds this is what I see

Image

It cannot be moved or removed.. it seems to be stuck, not allowing me to do anything. I exited the game and tried again.. same thing.

It is most likely my machine that is causing this. I am using a really old laptop since I spilled cup-a-soup on my newer one and fried it :haha: This machine I am using now is running on windows 8.1 so I might just be outta luck.

It would be super cool if the layer feature worked in Facebook ... maybe one day ... a dream never dies, just the dreamer...

I am really glad to hear this! It was not clear that the YC home included the exclusive in the popup.

I'm putting this here so it will be seen. The gem event ao2025 bedroom challenge. Why isn't it possible to layer over things like baked in windows? After decorating the room, the windows were no longer behind the bed or the alcove. This is ridiculous.! It worked the whole time I was decorating until I hit submit. Then, there they were!!! I would prefer that the windows weren't there at all. I could have purchased them, so that I could have placed them in a higher position. This bullsh!t is getting on my nerves.

I agree, this was such a difficult room to decorate. It wouldn't be quite such a problem if layering stayed when you back out and come back in. Or if you didn't have to back out so often in case the game refreshed. As it is though, it was quite a pain having to layer everything to cover those windows.

We used to complain so much about these baked in items in rooms that we couldn't layer over, and they eventually did away with them. Now they are back.... unbelievable.

I just wanted to say that based on what you wrote above, your room probably submitted exactly how you saw it up until the point of submission. If you saw a flashed image of the room where the layering looked bad, right after pressing "submit", that was not what was submitted for voters to vote on. The image you see in the "Ready to Submit" window is what is submitted.

I am enjoying the new "book" couch. I am choosing the green and it is not a pastel green and It is refreshing having it. Thanks. \

One more plug for getting a home made in the gem event peacock theme. I love that room. Is it a Viking Nikki creation?

Are these window prices correct? If so, they're a bit absurd, don't you think? 25,000 coins for a window? 4 YC and 1 YC for the the light ones — they don't seem animated or anything, so why? :eh: :?:

This could of been an epic castle, but the outside doesn't match with the inside, we could have had 2 spiral staircases going up to tower rooms as it shows outside, and a level of at least 1 room up stairs as well as it shows on the outside, As far as a "Village" it is not. The extra "village" house would of been awesome if you could of had a room to go into. I don't get the strange wall papers, having 2 different ones in a room that are gaudy is a big lose. I continue to scratch my head as to why you are continuing down the cookie cutter floor plans, It's pretty boring.
