I had decided to only select the free house for some time due to the time constraints...then eventually got sucked back into buying the YC house when there was a theme I was really interested in and somehow continued to buy them after that. I mean...I know that we are not obligated to complete the house within the time 'they' give but you kinda' wanna'. It IS "annoying"...might as well just go back to the FREE HOUSE again...that is going to be MY solution. Keep it cheap...short...simple. I'm not cavin' into the MAN's way! lol :idea:

I was excited about the pet hotel, so I bought the cash house... which is something I haven't done in a looooong time. Then... POOF... they moved on to another theme.

Luckily, I have about a million cat items lookin for a home. Guess it's going to be a hotel full of dusty old cats. HA!

You can nab a few coins from resale of the wall paper and flooring - so I always take it; but if im not doing gems often I will skip entire themes OR just buy what fits (but now, since items arent vaulted as often, it's easier to over look themes and go back to them If I'm looking for something in a special color etc)

All this rush has done for me is cause me to sit back.. ITS way too much all the time, idc anymore what theme it is, I havent decorated in ages. I used to be a decorator rather than clothing hound... but now it's turned around on me. I look at new hairs... clothing.... whats in the AH, but stay away from home decor deals always. I dont buy homes, I used to grab the free home, but since I dont buy anything for it, even that has stopped.
So IMO.... the rush of Theme releases... may be good for some... and bad for others. Only the pocketbook will tell.... mines closed LOL.. ( unless I like a hair being offered). lol..
