Same , I personally think wearing retros with an 08 holding a cupid bow with heart thoughts coming up your head is just plain show off, These items don't even look good together

People look at my badges when they cant distinct if I look "Rich" or not, I don't know what badges have to do with it, but apparently mine make me "Rich", even though there are like 10 non filled sections of them. LOL!

Funny thing is that after the FG fiasco, I wonder just how many of these "rich" items, are even real.
For them to judge you based on looks is silly...or to judge you at all is ridiculous!
I don't go to auctions unless I know the person holding it.

Its pathetic that anyone actually recognizes classes in a game. Its real life that counts, and a person can be rich in many different ways apart from their bank account.

Personally I think most of the "rich" look like they got dressed in the dark. Pink retros, some sort of Menorah/turkey, etc hat, lime jeans, the cupid bow, etc, etc, etc. They all need some serious fashion lessons imo.

I had the opportunity to possibly buy some blue yma hair at an auction but passed because everybody and their mother wears it and I love blue hair. I'd rather wear what I want and have my own look than copy what everyone else is wearing. I don't consider myself rich but I'm not hurting for coin either.

I don't think gleek meant you! You look adorable <3 I know you know the type we were talking about.

Edited to add something, but I'm not sure what LOL Oh yeah, I don't think gleek was referring to you. You're not the type, from what I've seen.

Art mirrors life, though. Classes exist in real life. It is pathetic, however, that in a game people have to suffer for appearing "poor."

I agree with many others in that I wear what I like and I don't really care what others think. One of my fave pairs of jeans is those freebie light destroyed skinnies, I would never part with them. I have worn my old hairs and been made fun of but oh well. A lot of those items that supposedly signify wealth are just ugly IMO :P

Well I look at it this way.... if you can't find something because you have misplaced it in one of your many storage houses... you might be rich! :) This means you have to much than you know what to do with. It could also mean you are a hoarder. I've got 99 problems but being yo broke ain't one. :D

Yup!! Wearing every valuable item at once cheapens the look of the items, IMO. Pick one and make a tasteful outfit around it. Disclaimer: I'm not dictating how anyone should dress and never would (save for the uncle...never mind). It's just my opinion that doing 'em all at once doesn't express individuality but rather sheeple mentality.

yes I know, its also pathetic when people in real life see themselves as better than others because of what they have....I understand it less in a game where nothing is actually owned by anyone though.

I leave auctions immediately when I see things like that, downright disrespect.

Totally agree. It's sad that some peeps didn't learn anything from our time with Z - that it's all on loan.

Personally I don't put fellow Yo-players in "richness" categories.
Why does that even matter?
Someone can have 1 coin to their name and be a lot nicer than someone with 100 million in their yo-account.

I guess those who host auctions and kick people just want to get the whole thing over with faster, and don't wanna bother with anyone, who to them doesn't look like they could afford whatever they have to sell,or who may even ask questions, which would take time, too.
But even if that's the case, it's pretty silly, because even people who could easily afford their items, may not always walk around packed with their most valuavle 2008 items but rather wear something they enjoy .
