Wouldn't surprise me...judging by your icon you're a newbie. Ah I can remember when there was hardly any themes and Yoworld was called Yoville. Bet you didn't know that did you? I was on this game before there was cars and animals you can ride.

Don't judge an avatar by its start date, Mark.

Especially given you dont appear to have one to display yet, either.

I'd really like to look forward to the future with BVG and not past items. Also to add some people who want old themes back that don't buy yocash will only complain about the spike in yo rates.

Well I'm sorry if I've actually played the game. The last time I checked Yoworld has and always will be centered around the in game furnishings.

Its not about if you have played the game or not - its about how you feel about it. Incidentally I have been in this game longer than the original poster - I just don't feel the same way. The Yo economy and being yoricher than other people has never been a motivating factor for me.

I thought BVG already promised that there would be no more re-releases anyway?

From what I read, they did not promise that, they only stated that they could not see themselves doing it. I think with the right arguement they would see that it would stabilize the yo economy and allow the collectibles theme to be what it says it is. They could eventually add furniture and clothes and so on to that theme just like zynga did in the past. But leave everything else open so people can decorate.

It didnt really stabilize the yo-economy when zynga did it, though. Those items are worth more then ever, some of them more than they were prior to re-release. As long as you have a game where some people will pay for playing and some won't, there will always be an inequality. :)

Whats wrong with having both. No one is asking for just the old item and no new items. But to have the themes picture in store staring me down is pretty much hurting my heart lol.

They said if they might make something similar to past themes. The stabilizing was about all the people who bought 100's of millions of coins and manipulated the AH prices. This is why average price on AH (?) mark was introduced.

Nyx,

It's because this game/economy has absolutely nothing to do with supply and demand.

It has to do with popularity and getting a person, or a few, to artificially inflate the value of whatever they want. It is so very easy to manipulate pricing in this game and sadly not a lot of people realize how easy it is to do.

Everyone I know, literally, owns Blue Retro Specs and they're a 9m coin item. Almost everyone I know, again literally, owns Pink Retros Specs and they're 18m. How is it possible for an item to command that amount of coin when so many people have them?

Artificial price manipulation. Now of course in the case of retros no one cares. Why should they? They already have them.

Yea, but Zynga just rereleased them for a short period of time, I mean leave the themes there permanently.

So it's unfair I didn't get a Babe Ruth back when it was released so i should go complain to the baseball card factory that it's so not fair I couldn't have one so they should make it again.

If this is the case, then why have a small collectible theme, pretty much everything that was once in the game would become a collectible. I don't agree with that at all. I am an old player, and I would love to see the furniture themes put back in the store so I can decorate. Some people play the game to just have as much money as possible, and some people play the game because they want to decorate and meet people. I have spent millions on items that I just had to have, but if I saw them in store tomorrow, I wouldn't be mad at all, because it is part of the game. I would just be happy to be able to decorate how I want. It seems as if people are trying to build monopolies in this game instead of playing the game for what it was originally intended to be.

I agree with this 100%.

This - I agree 100%

Even with the ? in the AH there is problems. Some people are driving up the price on some items just so the ? looks higher.

The difference here is this is a game, not real life. So many people are trying to turn a game of fantasy to real life situations. A lot of this game is centered around real life situations but it is also a game of fantasy.

I'd spend more on a theme leaving the store than I would if it sat 1 year in the store, I'd probably buy none. Especially Holiday themes.

Again it is real life when I bust out buying yocash...not a fantasy anymore now is it?

Right. And then throw in the FG pairs in existence that mean no one really needs to buy a real pair if they can sport an effective knock off and no one can tell the difference. Who'd pay 9m for them in that case? I bet most players wouldn't. But thats price we're told they're going for. Because taking into account other factors means that they're effectively only worth about as much as they were when they were put in stores back in 09, lol. And zOMG SHOUTY CAPS WE CAN'T HAVE THAT!!!!1

I dont own rets! I just own the halloween knock offs! :p I like them better though cause they go with more stuff :3

It is silly how much those go for all things considered. I'd like to see a new bvg version with more colour options.
