Yes some. No some.

Met one of my best friends in Yo when I was selling popcorn machines and espresso machines. She bought a popcorn machine and then we became Yobuddies. Then we became Facebook friends. Then chatted on the phone. All these years later, we still are friends. Hope to meet her in real life someday. We live several states apart.

Also met someone via another YoBuddy. Was looking for someone who sold certain products that you usually go to home parties for in real life. This buddy recommended someone she had done business with in real life on eBay. I contacted the seller and bought some products. From several companies they were reps for. So this person had all my personal info. Fast forward a few years. The person was a scam artist telling people he was dying! Wasn't true and I ended up having to block this person. The scam artist also tried to get social security numbers from other friends. He was a legitimate rep for those companies, I got all my merchandise. It just got really weird and scary at the end.

So please don't judge me if I am hesitant to trust people enough to share my real life details. Been there, done that and didn't turn out so well.

But I am happy to add people as game neighbors and buddies. I have my security settings high and am careful.

Yes, I have. A few years ago I had a YO friend who lived in Texas and was coming north to see family. She stopped by for a visit and stayed a few days before moving on. It was a lot of fun to hang out in RL. :D
