I thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring. Yo is the one game I can't really quit. I may give it up for a few months, but I always come back. The others I leave and that's it. Never even look back. So grateful to BVG for saving our game. Wish you all the best. :)

Thanks for sharing your story. I too gave out information when I first started and had everything stolen but I was too embarrassed to ask for help. I just ended up getting a new FB...deleted the old one and started fresh. I have never looked back...the game is still fun for me after all these years...

No, thank you for reading!

And yeah, i cannot believe i fell for such a scam :(. Mr snow gone forever... *sobs* And now he's too expensive to buy back..

No worries! You shouldn't think too much about the Mr. Snow :) Like I said, everybody makes the same mistakes. The thing is, you learn more with every mistake you make.

Thanks yo-god I have never lost a huge amount of coins or stuff neither have I ever completely quit. I guess I wouldn't be brave or patient enough to start all over again from scratch a few times like you.

I just gave brakes once in a while. Especially after 2011-2012 I started to play less and less almost none. I was just logging in sometimes, looking what's new, sigh at the prices, go to the factory and leave.

Thanks to crappy Zynga, the game was going down hill even tho many new themes were being released one after the other. Prices were crazy and decorating became impossible to me as every single key item I could use was at least 8yc. I can't afford buying more than 25-50yc once in a while. So I gave up decorating and dressing up. Most of my best yo friends I met when I first started had already stopped playing, so shorty I didn't bother to make new friends nor dressing up & decorating. There was no point of playing yo anymore. But I never uninstalled the app and never gave my stuff&coins away in case I might start to enjoy the game again one day.

When I heard the game was going to be closed, I returned back to forums to support BVG's purchse of the game. Bought a VIKINGS hat and started posting, following what's going on till we succeeded.

Now here we are all settled, game is back and alive and once again I started to buy and sell, chase stuff, really wanted to complete my piano museum again. Happy to be a yoworld player.

Love the story! I think the saddest part was when you gave up on dressing up and decorating as these two features are my key involvement now. I LOVE doing the both of them . I am truly happy you're back in action though! I can't wait to see your piano museum, please share if possible when finished!

Thank you !! You can visit my museum from my siggy, I am missing just 1 piano now. When I get that I am planning to do a few changes, add 1 or 2 more rooms so that I can redesign the rooms that has too many pianos dumped in at the moment.

Glad you never gave up too ! Welcome back again :)
Happy gaming.

Very nice story, it's good to have you around, man. I have done the same quite a few times, I actually gave away the costumes, roses and retros during 2013 since I was upset at Zynga. BVG has done a good thing though and have brought back the things that most players love. My Yoville/Yoworld story is too long to explain and I don't feel like it but this game really did save me in many ways and that's just honest. If it was not for Yoville back in the day who knows what would've happened. I am definitely glad that BVG bought it and is looking into it, trying to make it better. Some of us have nice memories from here that really changed our lives!

Well hey, fellow quitter! I started in 09, gave everything away in 12, and quit. I did come back and I don't regret giving everything away and quitting for about 8 months. It gave me a fresh perspective. Now I enjoy buying and selling and collecting rares, but what I enjoy most, (and never did before in my previous hermit existence) is hanging out in game with my friends.

Don't worry about Mr. Snow, you may find another, you may not. But let it go and enjoy the ride.

@Kraze - That is soooo very true.

@LilyBGoode - I agree, everytime i partially quit it gave me a fresh perspective but somehow Zynga would end up ruining it. Now that BVG owns it my perspective is revitalized every single time i play the game! I'm looking forward to the long long years with big V

Ps- I don't think i can let go of Mr.Snow , that costume was amazing :( My very first 09 costume as well!
