For me I started in 2009, and was using my main account until I switched 3 years later to my new facebook account that I am using now. I first heard about Yoville from a friend, he kept bugging me and bugging me to play with him, and at the time I thought the game looked silly and stupid. One day I gave in and started to play. When I first started my friend Mike told me that in order to get stuff you can do two things, Save up coins or buy Yocash (As Yocash was new to the game at the time). So I went and used my card to get 100 Yocash and bought myself some clothes and some furniture. And here I am 5 years later and still playing, funny thing is though. My friend, Mike, who got me into the game is now calling it stupid and pointless lol. But I will continue to support YoWorld and keep playing until the game runs into the dirt!

Your story is sorta like mine..friends from work kept telling me I should play it. And I told them i'm not into those kind of games. And for a couple of months they kept asking me if I ever tried it. So finally I did and that was that lol
And the funny thing is they barley ever played it at all.

I should turn the tables and bug my friend Mike into joining the game

Lol...yes you should. I never in my life thought i'd get into a game like this. And within a day I was addicted. I remember buying yocash right off the bat too. I would go in the gift shop and try and win a rare item haha. I forget what all I won but that alone was addicting.

Much like Alice I fell down the hole into Yoworld around Christmas 09 and have yet to crawl out.. I have tried on occasion but it just keeps sucking me back in. I played games on pogo and followed a link to another game that no longer exists and that was the only reason I started a FB acct.

My sister, who lives 150 miles away, asked me to join. The day I joined, I put a few cookies on to bake, came back later and they were burned. I thought to myself 'how stupid, if I wanted to burn food I'd do it in my own kitchen'. At that point, I had no idea there were events & I could actually go out into the 'world'. Eventually, I started logging in more and getting the hang of baking cookies for coins. I got hooked when I realized there was events and that I could buy stuff cheaper there. I had to make coins to buy though, so I'd set an alarm so that I could get online at whatever time (didn't matter if it was 3 am) and take my cookies out and put more in. Here I am, almost 5 years later.

My join date is correct, this is my main and only account.
I can't remember whether it was a advert on the side of Facebook or an ad on FarmVille...I used a shared computer till early 2010-ish so I didn't play much but soon as I got my first laptop I played a lot.

I was actually playing another FB game at the time. This was the weekend of the 4th of July, back in 08. I started to get bored with that game and was looking for another. Tried yoville and liked it. Been playing ever since.

Feb 2009. A friend posted a screenshot of a room she decorated on her facebook wall. Or was it myspace? I dunno. But I saw it and was like, "ooooohhhh a game where we can decorate?! Gotta try that!" So I did and I was hooked from the very first day LOL

I joined this game in 2009. Used to play Street Racing, Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars and a few other games. Had all the things in there and needed a challenge when my neighbor introduced me to "a game" which turned out to be Yoville. I got him more hooked and like 10 other friends into playing it. Some of them stayed but got tired after a while. Til this day, I am the one playing it religiously. Hell, I don't even talk to my neighbor anymore since we went different ways.

I started on myspace 10/08 just in time for halloween...I was a yocash dealer for almost a year, until a so called friend hacked into my game and transferred all my rares and collectibles to her account...from the moment on I promised myself I would NEVER own anything someone would want to steal!!! I switched to Facebook after she hacked me.

This girl I knew spammed my entire Facebook wall with yoville posts. It looked incredibly stupid but I decided to try it for the hell of it. It ended up turning into my favorite game.
