Yikes!! I'm in Chicago and it was scary last night. Twice in one week our tornado sirens went off. We don't usually get them in our neck of the woods but we do get really bad t-storms.

I was so surprised! I've rarely heard those go off, then when I kept peeking through my Window, the storms looked so harsh as did the wind! Yikes! Indeed!!

I panicked so badly because sometimes they sound the sirens during bad t-storms in the daytime, but at night you can't see the sky much when it's like that. We also would have to go out the back door down 3 flights of stairs and across the building to get to the basement/laundry room! I had no idea what to do so I just paced LOL

Your not alone, I opened my back light to the porch and the wind was so thick I couldn't see anything. That was scary.
