I feel the same way not a hat I've been wanting I like the hat we are wearing much more and no doubt if it was released or not.

She said she bought it off yv.com but it doesn't show non refundable it is non tagged in her inventory, that may be a glitch or something so if she can show it in proper place in her inventory that would make me be more open to believing it was a short term release.

Also the last almost year that Zynga owned yoville they had a sticky post at the top of the trade forum saying you could not buy or sell unreleased items in the forum and the post said that the menorah hat was one of the unreleased items you couldn't buy or sell in the forums.

When BVG made the announcement that they were taking over YO, I thought I read on the "FAQ's" section
of that official announcement that they did not want to re-release items....that some items may be similar in looks, but

The problem with "Unlikely" being ambiguous is problematic.

That and the Menorah hat is supposedly unreleased and if so should be removed from the game.

Although it may not be a guarantee, I'm going to go with it's "unlikely." I believe BVG
will do it's best to keep all of us happy....they, unlike Z, play the game and are actively
involved in what items are hot and most desired by avid players...will that play into
no re-releases, I think it will. I guess BVG has to weigh the risk of damage it could or not do
to the players.

BVG would do us all a great svc by announcing an answer to: "To release or not to release."
Take the pressure off the game and let the players get back to wheeling n' dealing.

Well it was in your real life that you either tried on or didn't try on the hat in the shop, and I don't believe you did even though you said you did because that function was not available then. And you seem to care if it was released or not if you want to post that you tried it on in store when it was released.

Maybe you need to get a life instead of saying you did things that weren't even possible to do then. It mostly seems that you are upset because you tried to use your trying it on as proof that it was released and it was PROVEN that you could not possibly have done that.

This may be slightly off the topic, but what I do not understand is why it has been said that the Menorah Hat was taken quickly out of stores because of religious reasons. I remember a good sum of the Jewish faith items in the stores during a couple of holidays that remained until the theme was closed. I thought I remembered a hat being sold, but I think it is that smaller one that looks like a tiara. I see the same things said of the Celtic Cross, but I have a couple of the Wise Men decoration that were sold and stayed in the stores. Last thought is although I am not very religious myself, more spiritual.... but what could be offensive about items of faith? Just skip the theme and move on right?

All that said, I am really looking forward to new themes and fresh things to collect, wear, and decorate with. Hope we get new hats, new pets, and great things to interact with.

Right, and hello Tinsel Tiara and Dradle Hat that can legally be bought?? The star of david isn't prominent on the hat, but its clearly there in tinsel.

Lol I think anyone who was on the old forum interested in this subject saw that sticky and would have to agree that it was. And the forum is no longer available but I would expect proof to be out there that Zynga said that in that sticky post.

There were many Jewish faith items furniture items released in 2009 so it makes no sense that they took out a fashion item because of religious reasons and especially not take it out in 5 minutes.

I own a Menorah. It was never in store. It wouldn't bother me if BVG put it in tomorrow.

I've had the hat over 2 years now, I'm long passed the status/worth of it.

Cat clock as I remember was around for a couple few days not just minutes or hours.

Yeah cat clock was around on two separate occasions actually. It was pulled once to be fixed, put back in and then pulled again with no explanation. I think it was in the store for about a week total.

Slayer Tank I am not exactly sure how long it was in store for, I bought it because well I was a noob and it was cheap LMAO

I think you are taking this way too personal and I'm not meaning to be insulting. This is a very hot topic and maybe you are not so aware of that. You offered proof that the Menorah Hat had been released in the past, your memory and it was proven that your memory was mistaken. There is no reason to take it personal and I'm sorry if your feelings are hurt.
