Without repeating much of the sentiment prior, can they be reactivated for a day or two so that people can get the images they worked so hard for, or were they actually wiped? You'd earn so much more goodwill by letting people get their images downloaded. This action was taken during a workday when people had little to no time to act.

I understand that there were probably legalities that tied your hands here. Paint boards are a part of what has brought the broader Yo community together. Not the forums, not discord. It's how us Yos have held events where people gather to meet, tour creativity, or buy and sell. Community is what makes this game and makes it special.

In the end, even if this was handled well in planning it simply wasn't in execution. I'm not holding my breath, but I'd like to see people get their images. Outside of that we need to see solutions quickly.

I am absolutely devastated that this was the only solution, however, I am unaware of the tragedy someone must of posted on boards for all of them to be erased.
I lost a core part of my YoWorld Life today... years of outfits of items I can no longer afford I will never see on my avatar ever again. I will never see my avatar dripped out in iconic fashion ever again. My art is all gone. My post iconic room in yoworld lost its most iconic art. My room is DEAD, my sales are DEAD, tweaky dripped out in unreleased NO MORE. :heartbroken:

That's the only way this would've happened. Someone's parent's lawyers probably got involved because of what their kid saw on a PB in game.
But, their kid can still freely gamble, that's not a problem because guess who makes money off of that

Agreed. And the only reason said images could pop up is because BVG openly allowed people to use 3rd party programs to upload any pictures onto paintboards.
If they sincerely cared about protecting kids/players they should've seen that coming from the get go and not allowed it/ monitored it better AND like I said they wouldn't promote gambling and allow it in events. Their incompetence lead to this, and now everyone is punished for it.
Hopefully this makes them think about further choices a little better, assuming they survive through this.

Finding out the paint boards were erased was one of YoWorld's biggest tragedies.
I lost some of the best years of my YoWorld experience when Paint Boards were erased.
Countless pictures of my avatar in outfits I cannot afford.
The art centerpieces of my decorations are gone.

BVG please comp my account so I can see my most iconic outfits again. ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED

PLEASE Viking Admins Consider This

I and as well as EVERYONE else would be entirely grateful if there were more transparency from this abrupt decision. I sit here thinking as I've posted a few replies on here I have to say this. I will go into depth after reading nearly every reply by Yoworldians.

Majority of us have enjoyed having you all work so hard on maintaining YoWorld from Zynga's sellout. However, some have just tolerated you all. At times like this is where majority votes this is not right.

Moreover, I as well as the majority would love some more transparency regarding the reason why we are unable to use Paintboard's anymore. I'm more than positive we will understand more if there is legal action involved, but, if it's a spoiled apples ruining the ability for us to use them it's not fair. Many memorials and tributes have been made from deceased players/or FOR deceased players. No compensation is viable to repay some of the sentimental values that were deleted for some! I have made art for folks since 2017, (non handrawn), and I could see why there could be legal action.

There may be a solution..

Somehow develop a report system for boards, and turn the green light back on them so we can use them again. That would be the most beneficial. We as players and I HOPE you as staff want YoWorld to continue correct?

Doesn't seem to have been a difficult decision otherwise you would have punished just the people who broke your TOS .... You obviously know who they are ......to punish everyone is just the easy way out.

This is totally unfair and the worst decision you have made! I spend real money and I care about this game because I have made friends from all over the world, and then you do this to honest players?

You have hurt our feelings and, in reality, there is no compensation, even if you allow drawing again, because the previous boards are already gone.

I will cancel my VIP subscription right now and will not buy yocash as a form of protest and, if you continue with these policies, me and other players will definitely leave the game because we are not valued or heard.

I use the paint boards all the time, and have many paint boards in my inventory. Those that break the rules should get a warning, and if they don't comply, loose their account. It's not fair to punish everyone for a few rule breakers!

FYI: Some players created entire worlds in their rooms using the boards and their creativity to supply everything you are incapable of providing. Shame on you.

I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated. Why not JUST punish the violators....why punish everyone ESPECIALLY the ones that follow the rules. We use boards for sale, games and pageants not to mention you have erased the memories of the good times we have shared with our YW "family"

It is quite apparent to me and others that you truly DO NOT CARE about us or this game.
WE ARE BEGGING YOU TO GIVE US OUR PICTURES BACK so that we can continue to enjoy this game, play our games, post sales, and so people can earn coins/YC for selling their artwork.

Why punish everyone for a few naughty players. Disable the boards at fault, not all of them. We paid a lot of yocash for our art and art boards. Yoworld is less fun every day. I hope people punish you by not spending money on the game now.

Friend visits and photos have been not working correctly for years, you don't seem to care enough to fix the game problems.

I'm fed up and so are many others.

I find deleting the Yoworld Paint Boards ridiculous. Delete the people that dont follow the TOS (terms of service) not the art work!
Friends, family and buddies are literally crying. Consider hand drawn art. Art done by children now grown up. Art done by friends that have passed away.
Wedding art, Commemorative art, & etc... I've hand drawn an uncountable amount of Yoworld Paint Boards spending tons of time. I think this is one of the all time worst moves Yo has made. My advice is to put the boards back and have the players help you find the culprits. I know I would help and I know my friends and family would to, I don't even have to ask them. The Yoworld Paint Boards are very important to many, many players. :angel:
