BVG already stated they wouldnt t rerelease themes. Unlocking them would be lying on their part, thus losing alot of player trust.

It won't be "lying" Companies at times, can re-evaluate their decisions and have full rights to change them according to demands & company's benefits.

It would not be genuine of them considering they said they wouldn't and a lot of people have put their faith in to that, solely because they agree and share the same opinion against it. A lot of people would not be happy to be duped in that same sense again like when Zynga did it.

I do not know why people keep bringing this up. They already mentioned that they will not rerelease any items. If they do, then they will lose the trust of many players. The same a zynga's lies.

Well, my wallet snapped shut and my VIP was cancelled the very day zynga rereleased the first set of groovy and spellbound items. It is only since BVG took over that I have began spending money again. If they go against their word my wallet will close again. You can't tell people one thing and get their trust only to go back on your word. Zynga did that to us all of the time and in the end it was the very thing that brought the game down.

Businesses aren't always conducted according to feelings, No, but they are conducted on a basis and foundation of honesty towards the customers! Giving people a sense of trust, to keep their customers all on the same page, informed and loyal. Why would BVG go against their own word on such a prominent topic of concern for soooooo many? You seem to think BVG will change their mind ...

Here we go again...This topic always comes up some how....Again Why do people want old themes back? Because they missed them? Maybe they should have stuck around and got them while they were in stores, some of them came back but do we really need them a 3rd time? I think if you want an older item save up for that stuff and look for it at sales. It can be a mystery but some times thats the fun in looking for those items/clothing items. Lets hope for new stuff...soon.

People do make rash decisions robot before looking at every angle of a situation. BVG has stated they are at a loss right now. People who defend keeping them closed are greedy and part of the reason why the game was not working anymore. You can not say you support BVG and turn around and say keep a theme closed because some of the people that play the game play for reasons other than decorating and making friends. If you say you would lose faith in a company and not trust them over them making a little money which in turn pays the artists to come up with cooler themes then you don't actually support them. I could care less if some of you got your feeling ls hurt because your item which are not collectibles went back down to normal prices instead of paying millions for something just to decorate with. Oh and it is not beating a dead horse. It is asking them to reconsider since there is a defense that is actually in their favor and people are finally stepping up. I am sick of a few getting everything they want in this game and want to keep it the way it was. Sorry folks the game work better and was a lot more fun when you had the most items to play with.

I agree! It would be a totally unstable business move and would be a slap in the face to so many customers and collectors. I really don't see how this point is lost on people. ((((( :?: )))))) *explosion sound effect*

Um rereleasing is not a way to improve business. They will slap many on the face hence losing more coins. If they rerelease this then what keeps them from just rereleasing everything. Is not about being greedy, its about going back on their word and about collecting items that everyone had access to.

I 100% agree with this statement. Its such a pain to go though the store and have these themes in the way. Get rid of the them. :)

You said it collecting. The only thing someone should be collecting is collectibles. I guarantee through all the complaining in the past with the rerelease people still bought the items. I collect things too... collectibles I might add. That is the purpose of them. It's not a slap in the face it's called get over it and enjoy having more item to play with.

I see you have already summerized what I was going to say. Thanks.

I also don't understand why people come here and complain about this thread being up. All players have equal rights to express their opinions and bring suggestions. Thread is up because we are discussing, exchanging opinions and suggestions. There is nothing wrong with that. Also, as long as the discussion goes on and the thread stays up, more people get a chance to vote. This is a live, perfect feedback for BVG.

The yocash they would earn in the short term would not make up for the permanent loss of income to come in the future. Ask zynga how it worked out for them when they rereleased a ton of stuff.....yup, people bought yocash, probably a lot but for every player that bought, 5 players left the game permanently, yocash buyers included. I don't know why everybody is so impatient. Wait, and we will have plenty to spend yocash on once they get to designing furniture. I, for one, can't wait to have some NEW things to decorate with. I already have what I wanted from the ghost themes in the store and I'm sorry for those who weren't playing at that time. I wasn't playing in 08 but never once did I ask that they rerelease all of that stuff because I missed out on it.

"People who defend keeping them closed are greedy and part of the reason why the game was not working anymore."

whoa now Nelly. With all due respect, I am not a greedy player at all. I don't disagree with re-releases out of sheer personal greed. I could not care less from that angle. Trust me on that! :D

I'm a bit surprised you'd even make accusations like that :? People who aren't in favor of releases can still support the game and still do I assure you. If BVG came out with the idea to re-release themes then we'd know they were truly desperate and would get served the explanation that comes along with it. As for player interest, I'm sorry but I do not have any sympathy for those who cry of a difficult shopping spree amongst rares. That is a part of the game.
