I totally agree with you, I will never use it if I have any choice in the matter! Yet another change for change's sake instead of improvement, instead of fixing the many broken things in Yo.

Thankfully, for now at least, it's easy to change back to the old store way by clicking on settings (the top right icon next to the room name) and removing the check mark enabling the game to use the new store. That will last ONLY TEMPORARILY! You have to manually change it each time after clearing your cache! If you don't, you get stuck with a popup that you can't get out of until you either load the new store and then cancel out, then go to your settings and change it manually to uncheck the new store option; or just reload the game entirely (which usually takes the least amount of time for me as loading the new store always gets stuck) and then change the settings.

I don't understand why BVG can't just let us opt out of the mess permanently until we would ever choose to opt in, instead of having it reset, but I guess we should just be glad that they haven't entirely done away with the old, more user-friendly, store.

Thanks but no thanks when clicking the item to drag to the room I bought something and it went to inventory and I'm so afraid that I'm gonna clear my room didn't like where that clear button was. I'll stick with the old works best for me.

I mentioned this very same thing in the last thread and also in this thread. Looks like that is not really a priority for them.

The good news is, that after you save the room (with the item back in inventory) and go into edit again it shows the new tag (until you place it into the room and back into the inventory again). So you do not lose the tag, it it just now showing.

Absolutely, I agree!!!

I dislike it, I waited a few days before I made any comments.. It's a giant headache. I have been unable to change out the walls or flooring,, it takes forever. bring back the old way. Please focus on fixing things that are broken, to me this is a good try, but a fail in my estimation.

Change its always hard but I will check on it but... Should I learn it cos eventually will be the only method of editing?. For me, this may be a powerful reason to start learning how to use it ASAP.
If any official information on the future of the new edit feature was released I would love to know about it. Do we have a time frame?

hmmm I hadn't heard about the levelling thing, just that you cannot see your progress during an edit which bothers me.
Snorty, I don't think you can use the new mode in FS mode. They need to fix that too.

I think it might have been part of the new theme or at least it was recent. I really cannot remember for sure. It's the little country breakfast nook one. And luckily it did disappear and the original one was still in my inventory. And that weird tracing issue leaving fragmented multiples stopped. However I am still pulling in 2 items when shopping and having to toss one back or I will end up paying for 2.

Hmm so maybe by dragging it out of the room it stayed in your account, but by clicking the negative next to the quantity of items in the cart you end up losing your item. I have to read what happened to Riff again to piece this glitch together.. oh yeah she cancelled her edit session and her item that was in the cart was lost from her inventory.

I have not noticed it pulling 2 items in but did have trouble dragging items in without accidentally bringing up the add to cart menu. I'm on a big screen, I can't imagine trying to play on something smaller.

BUT the day after you experienced the weird fragmented multiples thing I had trouble with purchasing items off the popup window with the digging dog, I'd try to purchase 2 of an item and one click to increase the quantity ended up giving me a total of 5, one more click and it would go up to 8, a third click up to 20, it was all over the place.

I know, even without the glitches, just the extra clicking and moving of the cursor are enough to get me to stop decorating. I hope they redesign the whole thing with ease of use in mind for those of us with pain from computer use.

You can turn it off though and go back to the old edit mode, you just have to keep turning it off every time you refresh the game it reverts back to the new mode.
I hope you saw that. Just like before, you can click the settings cog wheel and unclick the bottom thing about using the new store, or during an edit, you can click the HELP button and go back to the old mode.

I'm so glad we have the option to choose between the old and new settings...phew!

When using the new edit mode and try to drag an item to the room it does not show unless I wiggle with it. This happens with non-cached items (those I drag into the room the first time) and it is something I have none issues in the old edit mode – they show up fine on the first time I move them into the room without any wiggling.

You should perhaprs test it out a little more before you start pushing players into using it.

This looks great and love the new search but I was in the middle of working on a room and I have inventory I wanted to use and had just purchased and now I cant find the way into my stuff all that is coming up is the new store. FRUSTRATED is almost walking me away from the game but I have to much $ invested... PLEASE FIND MY STUFF...

Yes in the settings. (Cog button top right)

I do love that it's easier to find items in the store but putting items in is so slow for me and if I want to move something (it's highlighted) I almost always have the rotate arrows on the item below or visa versa and whichever I wanted to do I have to fix the other issue. It's very time consuming to have to rearrange after I set items down.
I think I will go back to the old way for awhile.
It may be an issue with my graphics card and that's a pretty expensive fix!

If it worked better I would use it...but there are too many issues that make it hard to decorate with the new editor, so I turned it off.

So disgusted that you roll out something that is so broken and makes how we play impossible to continue.

I found my free gift chests...........they are now located under the Free Gifts tab....click OPEN when you get to the pop up

Would have been nice if you had told us about this permanent move BVG instead of having us try to hack that new dysfunctional inventory list you changed. Even under the old system of decorating there is that new invenotry box that is now our permanent inventory box whether we like it or not.
A lot of things are missing from my AVAILABLE tab FURNITURE TAB and IN USE tab . There is no organization as we know it....things are just dumped in there by category and NOT alphabetized like our inventory used to be. How can we find stuff now....too much searching and scrolling. Your search box is not allowing any typing in it
When I was allowed to type in the search box, I tried to search for some pets by their item names in my IN USE TAB and it showed none of my pets...

If you're going to change things......please test them so you know they work instead of pissing everyone off with dysfunction and non working features.
