I gave this go a fair shot but it was too laggy for me. I am used to instantly having my stuff on the screen when I drag it from the shop and having to wait threw me off. I will try again because for the most part, it was good. I was nervous about the yocash for stuff you own glitch as well. Now that I am out of yocash, i may try again since they cant charge me for my own stuff if I dont have any cash to take!!

I agree with you!!! I went to put falling rain (cash item) into a room but the game wanted me to BUY it (again) although it was from my inventory. Why should I have to purchase an item I already have and want to use?
I also noticed it was missing at that time from my inventory so I cancelled this edit and was lucky my 'rain' was then appearing back in my inventory.
This isn't the first time this has happened. It's time consuming and frustrating to say the least.
And yes, I like the ease of use and being able to locate items quickly.

Click the cog icon in the upper right corner of the game screen to get to your settings. Then uncheck the box that says use new store editing. It will save the setting for the next time too if you're using gameroom or the bvg app...

I absolutely HATE this way of doing things! I have been a loyal Yo player & fan since June or July of 2009. This sucks big time! In fact, I HATE it so much, I am planning on using up my coins & Yo cash & just quitting. My favorite part of Yo is decorating my MANY homes, I have over a hundred, I believe. This is too hard, too confusing, & sucks all the joy right out of decorating. If this is your idea of an "improvement", you have lost me. Now that I have tried it a few times, I will promise you I will never purchase another bit of Yo cash. Never. It is no longer fun, it is frustrating & makes me angry every time I try to decorate. If it weren't for my many friends I have made in the game, I would already be gone. I feel that strongly about it. But now I have played so long, all my good Yo friends & neighbors are also my friends on Facebook so I no longer need the game to talk with them. Decorating was my thing. Now I hate it.

This is great!! But what is really needed is a way for players to categorize their own stuff. For example: I might have a category labeled table top items. I would then be able to put whatever items I wanted into that category so I can find them as I understand them to be used. Another player might have categories like : Halloween, Kitchen items, greenhouse stuff.......whatever makes sense to them and how they decorate. We need to be able to sort our own stuff because that's what holds me back.....I don't know about anyone else. Thanks you for considering this idea....

What are you talking about you can switch back to the old way of buying if you don't like it unless I'm missing something

Go up to the cog on the top right hand side click it .A drop down box will come down.at the bottom of the drop down you can switch it back to the old store or the new editor

Sorry to hear that Lynny. Viking Andrew is aware of the problem with the new store editor and they are planning on a fix tomorrow. So, fingers crossed, it'll get better after that...
