Hope I have time, I have a couple of assessments in college this week & next so hopefully ill squeeze something in amongst all the revision

I'm going say this again - everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is allowed to have their own opinion - but when it borders being rude/disrespectful, is when it starts crossing the line.
Appreciate ALL styles and appreciate EVERY designer who's TRYING.

agreed. they should appreciate the amount of work being put in and if its not your thing, move on... if ya don't have anything nice to say.... personally i have zero graphic design knowledge or skills, so when i get mean comments its hurtful.

Exactly! If you don't like someones design/s - just don't make comments about it..? Pretty simple - I guess not for some. It IS hurtful to hear, and it would be for anyone. I know i'm not the best and I know i'm still learning. But having to read such nasty comments is highly off putting and unnecessary. I'd LOVE to see the individual who made that nasty comment on my page actually try and make something, because it's dang hard to learn Design Programs, I'd like for them to go through the struggle of learning textures, shading, shapes etc. We're all just TRYING. OUR. BEST.

Me too! I loved his female entry for the XO design contest - maybe he'll make a female one for this XMAS one? We can only hope.
