Because those are whiteboards. Whiteboards we're not erased, only paint boards.

So since you cannot deal with the few offenders you will punish the rest of us. Are you trying to close the game? People will not take this lightly. Expect new purchases to drop.

Ahh man I was out of town for my birthday, and wasn't on Facebook that much but then I find out about this and was shocked. I have done a few paint boards myself, I'm far from a great artist but I had fun doing them and liked displaying them in my rooms. And like many others, I have had some given to me as gifts which I treasure, so those are especially sad to see wiped clean.

BVG I will always be thankful to you for saving this game and still keeping it running for us to play, and also for so many improvements you have made for us to enjoy in the past. But seeing the strong pushback you are receiving regarding these paint boards, it seems wise to restore them. Please reconsider - this coming from a loyal player since 2008 thank you!

Yes thanks. I realised that after I posted the pic - and edited my post to say this.

OMG I had a room dedicated to my son and husband they both passed away why take that away from me I cant believe I will never see them in that room very sad for so many of us.

I hope you have the ability to wave your magic computer pen wand, and reverse that decision you did to wipe away our artworks yesterday.
I'm hearing from so many upset ones today.

Please bring back our artwork.

This is not fair.... I have seen some beautiful art work on these boards.. I have should say had a set a 4 with a beautiful picture of x-mas... WHY not just remove the people who was doing that ??????

I have bought 318 now useless paintboards for 58 yocash and 1'520'000 coins

My rooms are a wreck and I spent a total 9'540'000 coins to get the paintboard done
They contained some of MY paintings, some of MY pictures and nothing that should be hidden or banned

Please RETHINK AND GO BACK TO YOUR LAST BACKUP BEFORE this mess

A solution that might take a while would be to go through all boards, lock those that are good and then put them back one by one. Not sure how this can be implemented but if it's possible, you might even find some trusted long- time players here who would do it for free.

I'm just curious if anyone in the company actually plays this game. I don't mean has a room set up for parties, I mean really plays the game in all the ways players play. So many decisions over the years that impact us negatively, make me think NO. This is like when I was working and decisions were made that effected every one that worked there instead of just the ones that should have just been let go or disciplined instead of changing things that made it hard on everyone else. I don't use paint boards but I know there were tons of people that did. This is really sad. I hope there was a back up and you actually kept all the artwork saved somewhere to replace when you've decided how to fix the situation. I feel bad for all of those that used them extensively and now have room upon room that is messed up as a result of this decision. Not to mention the amount of coins and likely yc they spent having these things done for them and countless hours put into creating them. This is just sad.

I feel we all deserve an explanation almost everyone in this game has white boards. And we have many talented players who have done AMAZING artwork to their rooms.

If it was for the safety of a person's identity, child pornography, porn or cookie selling that was against TOS then we should know that was the reason to protect.

Then just maybe some will have an understanding to the why's.

We aren't behind the scenes to why and I and many others would appreciate an answer. To leave it like this I feel will have many saying their goodbyes

I know in any business there are legalities that have to be addressed but staying silent is only makes it worse.

I feel sad for all those who have shared their feelings of rooms they have made for loved ones, pets or just enjoying decorating rooms with those boards that took them many many hours days to complete, maybe even months or years.

So yes, they all deserve and need to understand. This isn't just a game for most, there are deep feelings with people they have met, even players who have married in real life due to this game. It is a very unique game no other like it. Unfortunately, there are evil sick minded people no matter where we are in life, this game is no exception for that kind. I've seen really gross pictures and "I ALWAYS HAVE REPORTED EVERYONE" Even that one player who say "Come F me daddy" makes me sick when many young girls have been molested! me being one, you had to have that happen to you to understand how that makes you feel.

This whole thread should show us all that we are united as one with this and many are coming in here to share their feelings.

CAN YOU RESTORE THE BACK UP SERVER FROM JUNE 5th??? The day before this nightmare began?? - The decision you made to literally delete our lives and memories on boards there were no issues with, is the definition of cruel and unusual punishment -

i am so mad vikings that you did this with no warning, why punish all because of a few. i would report anyone who abused the boards i sure all would. you could have banned the abusers, instead you punished all. totally unfair. as a long time player this is so WRONG. MINE WERE ALL LOCKED YEARS AGO.
