Yes, giving gifts at peoples' homes work. If you are worried about it getting expensive, gift napa or carribbean. It's 1c in the stores.

hello? Andrew?

i'm not going to spend much time doing this if there is no answer to this. i have a feeling you only count one gift per gifting window or one gift per person. you've done something like this before with donation stations where you only counted one. if i send all my free goodies to one person thinking i've gifted 100 items but it counts as 1, that'd suck big time. please... anyone know? gifting can take awhile to load.

It's not going to register if you send 12 items in a gift as 12 gifts. It's going to register as one gift sent. It takes me around 10 minutes to load when sending gifts, so I totally get you. Just send a couple and know you did your best

Thanks x Milky x

He should have made that very clear, so people don't get napa gift bombed or think they've contributed enough sending one huge gift.

I already gifted 2 and it took less to load than I thought it would. I really like giving 12 gifts at once though, unload more stuff

You can always gift Napa gifts. These are just 1 coin each and you can easily earn at least $400 coins in a day and use them to buy a few gifts.

I have a massive inventory and it would take forever to load and find the right gift. So what I'm doing is hosting events like "Gifting PP2020" and when people arrive I just search for "PP2020" and gift them.

Michelle I realize that. I do not want to "gift Napa gifts." I am not a seller and I have a huge inventory with a lot of nice stuff people might like so it is not my issue. Not everyone is so fortunate. What my main question concerns is the delivery method. Andrew indicated by his diagram that it has to be sent through the gift action when you click on a person. Some people are dropping stuff off at my home.

Another frustration is, say you're at Altons, and you just want to drop a gift to strangers, you can't unless they're your buddy. After picking someone and then my inventory loading, which takes FOREVER, and the person you selected is still standing there, and you try and send a gift, you get the message that they only accept gifts from buddies. At that point you want to throw your laptop and scream :haha: :haha:
Lesson learned for me. :phew:

That has NOT been my experience at Alton's. I have dropped plenty of gifts to strangers and not had any rejected. You must have gotten a lousy crowd. LOL. I am heading there now in fact. Hope I do not run into those problems you described.

I am shamelessly Napa bombing everyone I can find, 25 items at a time.

Players can either re-gift them for the event or delete them from inventory if they don't want them.

It's an easy and inexpensive way to participate in this challenge.

That would be me... I only accept gifts from buddies.

I am so glad I have my settings locked up, last thing I want is 25 napa items to have to delete from my inventory. Takes forever and a day to load. Last thing I need is free junk thrown at me

Not saying this to be mean, but I don't like to accept good gifts, I definitely don't allow random players to throw junk into my account. It just takes too long to clean the mess up and adds nothing but more lag.

It takes a long time for my inventory to load, as does you... I don't want to deal with having to load, wait, wait.. then delete, wait, wait.. delete... wait.. wait..

For those that like this, have fun with it!!

Truly it's BVG that everyone should be annoyed at for encouraging these shenanigans.

Players looking to participate is these kinds of events have no idea if others want to as well for what ever reasons.

Personally I very much dislike any event where I have to buy stuff I don't want just to participate.

Just to be clear. I am not annoyed at BVG for doing this, nor should I be. I have options to prevent players from sending things to my account. I was just explaining why another player might have settings they way they do. BVG is trying to create fun, what the players do with it is another thing lol.

It will only happen if they have their settings set to not accepting gifts from non friends.

someone gifted me a bunch of Napa lights and I was okay with that. It does not have to be expensive.

In fact, I like the idea so much that I am going to buy a bunch and drop them off at my inactive friends apartments.

Ok, I bite. What exactly do you mean by ZEN? Way way back we had a Zen theme. Is that what you are referring to.
