hackers bring out items.. people buy from hackers.. they actually bought coins illegally to get those items.. that's why releases were done.. not to make fast cash.. or they would have released more than just 6 costumes.. come on now... the hackers destroyed the game.. and those hackers associated with some very popular clubs.. and the people in the clubs .. acting like they didn't know anything.. yes, they are All innocent
I remember the firwoman costume was cloned and sold.. was selling for 1 million coins... could buy them in bulk, 20 costumes 20million... and those players are allowed to keep them now.. cause they claimed they didn't know better.. yet they be the first to give tips on how to avoid getting ripped off..0.o
Those associated with that mess can pretend it never happened, but Yo players have a very long memory and they know who was responsible for the downfall of the game.
As far as opening all themes, where does the fun of the hunt for old items come in? I love old things, but not collectibles. If you put everything back in the store, then that will make trading horribly boring to me. Not to mention, there basically would be no reason for trading, unless people were looking for yocash dealers......Yes, decorators are a big part of the game, but so are the collectors (who ironically, don't always just collect collectibles )

If they want to make new game content, I love their designing, so I'm definitely behind that.
I don't have many coins left, and I'm not selling things just so I can buy more stuff, so I'm really in a holding pattern for buying until the game becomes fully active again. I'm patiently awaiting whichever direction we go, I know the Vikings really know how to orchestrate some fun in their games, and I cannot wait for it to begin, but I will, LOL

Honestly I don't see them rereleasing those three themes either. I mean don't get me wrong I would love to get my hands on more zen and egyptian items, but there was not any yocash items in those themes. There would be an uproar if BVG turned regular items that was once worth coins into yocash. I know when the tiki mask was turned from coins to yocash, a lot of people got mad about it, and ultimately, you didn't see a bunch of people going out and buying them.
hmmmm....well the Lime Jeans were originally supposed to be coin since before the release of them, they could have been sold back to the store. And the Menorah Hat was originally supposed to be 8yc since it showed up expired on yo dot com with a price of 8yc, albeit greyed out.
I didn't see any uproar on either of those two in terms of pricing.

They've officially answered this debate with a few variants of a "no" answer.

Q: Will you be re-releasing specific items?
A: Unlikely, but we may create new variations of them.
is just one.
So it seems BVG isn't even interested in re-releasing. lol.
This is a fairly concise No!

This is the exact reason why some of us were saying that it may have been a premature statement, and Gary was only reiterating what Greg originally said. At the time when both Gary and Greg made these statement you didn't hear anyone standing up for the benefits for having all themes opened except for holiday themes and collectibles. They were only trying to make the ones screaming the most happy. Well at least it seems that way. People as well as companies can change their decisions on things. This whole argument has been stated earlier in the thread and in other threads related to this one. I just hope that BVG realizes that it would be more beneficial to them and most of us(I'm not restating my argument for this. It can be found in this thread).

With that said you must understand how re-releases would make people feel then....

Veronica (122961678) wrote:Many people dislike and still waiting for the removal of the expired themes' shadows from the store. I was thinking, well, as they are not being removed, why not just unlock them all...
None of those themes expired fairly nor naturally after all. Zynga rushed to expire them in order to earn the last extra bulk cash before the closure of Yoville. Many players had already stopped playing at those days. We didn't even have time to enjoy them in the first place. Am I wrong?
Another thing, more important than that, we know BVG say they are losing money each day for the upkeep of this game, on the other hand, they can't create furnitures at the moment, plus, we can see that many people are not much happy about the clothing releases too yet, BVG is trying to encourage people to buy yocash.
If they unluck the existing themes, that will be for the benefit of the company, and the game's future in the first place. I know what they said about re-releases, but at the moment there is an extra ordinary situation and decisions can change.

If BVG decided to randomly re-release everything, they would lose a lot of accountability, IMHO.
