Good grief. Don't point out the GOOD stuff...... ......we just want to hear about the "bad" stuff. It absolutely does not matter that the earrings, if you buy ALL 5 PAIR come to a whopping 2k in coins and 2yc. They don't "see" that. All they see if the ONE hair that is 25yc. Nothing else matters. THAT one hair is too expensive, so the whole release is just plain garbage............. ;) and it's most likely the end of the world as we know it. Such a shame. :(

If BVG had the amount of players Zynga did in 2009/2010 this game would be catapulted into pure awesomness. They've got little resources coming into the game and much going out.

I agree with you LadyRainy. The pricing is very fair.

As far as price they did post about needing feedback on it to see whats the best but i don't find it bad i mean we are getting coin hair which is awesome and other coin items too so i think that's why yc is higher to make up for coin items.
For the comments about the quality not being good i think its nice I don't know what people were expecting they have a smaller team and haven't had the game for years like zynga did its like the game started over just we have our items but people will always have problems just my two cents ;)

Like Greg said, not everybody is going to be able to afford every single thing in the game. And that means me for example. I can hardly afford anything anymore, I see!!

If you don't like the pricing then don't buy it. I, for one, love the way the BVG is pricing items. They have a great variety of coins items and yc items.

The protestors enticed BVG to drink their cool aid, now reality is setting in for BVG, they are incurring huge costs and have a loan to pay back. If this game closes again BVG will be far worse off than anyone in the community. BVG will have to retrench people and pay back a huge loan, that BVG is in this position is a direct consequence of actions taken by the protestors handing out their cool aid.

A business decision was made by the previous owner to shut the game down, and we decided to save it with the belief that the community that helped save it would also help support the game financially.

While we recognize every effort made to save YoWorld from being shut down, we do not see ourselves as the beneficiaries of this. The passionate players are the ones who wanted it saved, and we were willing to help in the effort. Like I have mentioned before, YoWorld is a money losing business unit for us. I like to that think of us at BVG as working together with the community to help save YoWorld.

However, if 100000 people donate $5 directly to BVG every three months, that's $500 000 which will keep this game the community claims to love alive for a three month period at a time. Thing is, 100000 people aren't going to do that and I doubt they make $150K a month in yocash sales.

So your problem of not being able to afford anything may not last that long after all, just like the game. It sucks, but reality is a harsh teacher.

Dont think it kinda BVG fault that we got this theme. He listing to feedback and someone made a poll with list of themes and he looked at it and decided to make it. He cant copy it from the movie due to copyright so they might have to change stuff. And Also they have the right to charge 25YC for there hairs because if i wanted that hair I would pay 25YC!

I love the new clothing!

I hate the pricing. I understand BVG needs to make money and the ratio 2/3 items are yocoins.
But 15yc is gettting a little ridiculous for a hat. So is 25yc for a hair

Yes, I see your point Pete. Maybe I shouldn't have protested so hard! j/k  A yocash sale would be ideal at some point in the near future.

lol, my post was not only directed at you ;) :D

If this game is to survive the entire community is going to have to pull together to make it happen. The protesting was the easy part. This is when we find out if the community really is all that.

I think the pricing will adjust in time. I feel BV is just trying to give variances and maybe testing limits?

Maggie PSK (157371514) wrote:Prices should be like this
Hairs:
1 color (ugliest color) 20,000
3 colors 18 yc each

Clothes (Dresses/Tops/Bottoms/Shoes)
100-1000 coins

Hats
8-10 yc

Handhelds
8-10 yc

Why stop there? Clothes and dresses should cost yc only if they are more fancy, more dressy, have more bling, etc. Hats, the same, and handheld should reflect the same. Instead of 3 classes of goods, why not have 2? A hat say that has a lot of bling, feathers, etc. should be cash while a smaller, less bling and less feathers should be coins. This happens in the real world; things cost according to the designer, or the amount of bling on it. Here in Yo, we can't see the designer, so we have to depend on the amount of bling.

That's my opinion

I agree, the quality is good and I like the items they have produced, but they need to revisit the pricing system so we get value for money and its more affordable. This is not being negative in my opinion, and BVG need feedback. Also I find the hair very confusing as even the coin hair is now in AH for 250,000, lol

no one is obligated to get the 25 yocash hair.. that's why there are different levels of pricing, if anything I think bvg is making a way for every player to have an equal opportunity to get a newly released hair.
