ok... quite possibly... but, in todays game.. as we have been told, 95% of the players do not buy yocash... meaning 5% do, and thats with items for sale...

forum will be packed with people screaming out blue murder.. calling bvg money hungry scoundrels.. even go as far as to say.. why didn't you just put the items in the store (right after they support the mystery pack idea) .. lol.. it's funny... cannot get people to spend now.. and then to offer something that addictive as you say .. uhmmmmm .. not so sure...

it may work to generate cash for bvg, you're right.. but as with most gambling games... you lose way more than you win...

As someone who has held back on buying YC, this is something that would absolutely get me to spring. 5 chances to get an unreleased Hulk costume or Medusa for only $5? I'll take that gamble. For one, I already know the quality of that item. For another, it would make the item a legitimate rare and worth serious coinage on the aftermarket. This appeals to people who enjoy the trading and collecting aspect of the game. As well as appealing to those who have a predilection for low-risk gambling. Win, win.

People will scream bloody murder no matter what. You can't please everyone all of the time. Might as well make some money.

Well, all of this is hypothetical anyway. Raising the price of the packs would only make it a bit higher risk. But probably not high enough to deter those who enjoy the things I mentioned.

true... I think yes, it will definitely generate cash for bvg.. If people actually buy yocash to play them, yes, it will generate money, for sure.. house always wins lol

I would prefer buying something like the Hulk Costume outright if I wanted it. Maybe others like the lucky dip aspect of mystery boxes but I do not :)

I do like this idea save for one thing... I would rather that the *junk* items were still worth the YC amount of the box. I would be rather annoyed to waste so much YC for items that were completely worthless where I could have spent the YC on other items that I actually wanted.

That is a great idea. We're all sick of the crap that's been in those packs for the years now, and they are addictive for sure.......... every time you open one, you think to yourself, "just one more"....... definitely a good way to generate income for BVG and a great inspiration for us to get back to buying them.

AS LONG AS THEY DON'T LEAVE THE SAME CRAP IN THEM FOR YEARS!!!!!!!
