I know this rule. I chose to break it. There are times when those in power must be questioned - politely. I'm not upset at them. I'm worried about what these forums will become again if they stay on this path.

Well it seems we are all doing that right now

You are correct. I had a giggle or two yesterday, however, if the thread was deleted, why not PM the Vikings and ask for an explanation, rather than start a thread about how they moderated that post just to get everyone all riled up and puffing their chests up about what they will or will not do?
It seems to me that Gary has been fair (or whoever the moderators are) thus far, so it seems to me a private conversation would have been the best coarse of action.
I read the thread, but I wasn't here for the whole thing, so maybe posts were made while some of you were sleeping so you don't really know the whole store?

It only takes one sometimes to make a change that effects many. Like previous restrictions on siggy's. They were whatever size or animation, until it became a issue in -I think 2013 or late 2012. Then it became a very restricted thing and recieve a violation for siggy's that once has been norm for many years.

I have forgot my point.

As Jamie noted, threads contesting moderation decisions are rarely constructive, so I'll close this.

However, to address the concern:

This community forums are not for any one person, they're for everyone. If a thread leads to multiple complaints from many different people, we may remove it. Something can still be within the rules but go against the standards the community expects of one another. It would probably be best to avoid making threads concerning bodily functions in order to have your threads stick around, however hilarious they may be.
