Oh I know. I'm not saying nothing should be rare, etc. But even for short releases, it's more fair to have the timer. Even if it's for a day. Some people will still miss out and some people will still pricejack, etc. But it's still more fair. And Gary did say that if things were jacked after being removed, they would put them back. That's exactly what they did with the Gary pants and they will probably do it again. Especially considering how much $$ they probably made with the bandana and hulk.

You know what is funny. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before Z took over this game, back in 08, when something was going to be taken from the store NO ONE KNEW. The only thing that ever had a timer was the collectible items. I remember when there was a blue couch (I think it is super cheap in store now) was removed from game. EVERYONE FREAKED OUT. The couch was gone for quite some time too. Whoever had that couch was instantly rich lol. Sometimes I miss the surprise removal of items.

i miss them too. nobody complained as much as they do now. they only complain knowing bvg is going to put item back in stores.

I really think they will be back and it is a mistake. I didn't buy one. I thought about it and just never got one. If they don't come back, then I'll never have one which is fine by me. I don't agree with them not putting timers on items. There are instances, many of them, where people are away from their computer for days on end and it really isn't fair to them. If an item is mistakenly put in store and removed a few hours later, then that's one thing, but to purposely put an item in the store, knowing that it will be a big seller and knowing that you are going to pull it 24 hours later but you aren't going to tell anyone that.......well, that's a whole different ball game.
Mistakes are made. I get that. But releasing the hulk and rex was no mistake. So I think if it doesn't come back, there's going to be a few po'd peeps out there.
