I've received a few from some nice people but I usually work towards what I want. Don't do wishlists or none of that, really. I enjoy being able to say that I've earned most of what I have but there's always some nice people in game.

I've gotten some awesome gifts over the years.
But the one that means the most to me was given to me when I was a noob and still living in my starter apartment.
My very first new YoFriend gifted me a Black Poodle.
I was so Wow and amazed and completely overwhelmed by this player's generosity. We became friends for YoLife!
I seem to attach a piece of the giver to all my gifts I receive, and enjoy the heartfelt warm moment I have with visions of the giver each time I use a gift I was given.

A player who was leaving gifted me her astro costume. I didn't even know her, really, had just commented on a thread she was in something about wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger. It was a huge surprise, and I'll never sell it.

Speaking in terms of coins/going value, the biggest gift I have received is the ladybug costume from 2008 .
Two times I had attempted to save up the coins to buy the costume,and both times,when I was nearly there,the costume jumped up in price.
I was quite angry and needed to vent when it happened for the 2nd time.
A friend who was quitting Yo at the time just sent me the costume.
I was uber happy and still love the costume today

However I treasure all gifts,and try to find a nice place for them ,if they are furniture,or to put them on once in a while,if they are wearables.

The greatest gift I received and meant so much was when my daughter bought me the vacation home. It was my first home and it meant a lot to me.

Eminem's biggest fan gifted me white shutters in November 2012.It was my only 'OMG' wish.I lost them when I was hacked,I was so sad when I saw they were gone.

When I was new, back in '09, out of the blue I received a Koi Pond as a gift. It meant a lot to me that someone was so generous. I loved it and still have it.
