I've never had a wishlist and I never will. I try to give away as much as I can but as I said the other day, some take advantage of it and even resell what you gave them even though they ''wanted it so bad''. To me, wishlists are kind of pointless. If you want items then, as many of us do, get in the game and resell items or buy Yocash or whatever works best for you. They have the right to ask away and I would never deny them that but I really don't understand them and I see it as a way of begging. As said above by my fellow Yos, some people are dying for an item, you give it to them and minutes later they have a picture of another ''to die for'' item worth even more. I'm sorry if I disrespected someone but that's my opinion on the whole topic. If someone wants to give you something then I am super happy for you but having it on a list and then acting all surprised is kind of weird. There's a reason why you have it there in the first place.

IF I get gifted something in my wishlist, i would only change it if theres another thing I am wishing for alot :) Or if i am trying to buy something but it is hard to find for a fair price i would post it, same thing if i couldn't afford it :D I never sell any of the gifts i reviece anyway whether or not its from my wishlist so i wouldn't consider it greedy for someone to wish for a lot of things

exactly how i feel, if i wish for an item i'll find a way to get it... i'll work my yo butt off or sell others items. people just take others kindness for granted and take advantage of it. yes new players fair enough... my good friend seabeechick used to do newbie welcome packs, not sure if anyone does now but they were a great idea and the genuine new players were so grateful

i do agree with you when you say people change to die for items alot and it seems weird but i guess some people truly wish for more than one item :P when i get gifted i will most likley change it for another item i really want, but if i post that this is one my my biggest wishes or something like that, it actually is, theres tons of items i want and i wish for but I cant fit my entire shopping list in my signature haha

Unpopular though this view might be - I am going to be straight up about this.. I seriously detest the long and forever changing wishlists that I have seen starting to crop up on this forum. I have never had a wishlist nor will I, although in principle I have no objections to players posting that one or two beloved items in the signature, that they would love to have and for whatever reason they are unable to get. That is the heart and spirit of what a true wishlist is - but there some players who once gifted an item from their "numerous items loaded signature wishlist" immediately updates it with a plethora of many more items that they NOW would love to have and has been their desire since the started the game!!!. WTH! To me that is simply taking advantage of the generous players in this community and I personally regard it as covet begging which leaves a bad impression of that player in my mind. We aren't here to cater to the shopping - list desires of those too lazy to go in game and earn those coveted items for themselves.

Yeah I said it..... 8-)

So what you all are telling me is that I need to change my looking to buy statement in my signature to "My Wishlist" and I will get it faster? Iol

But really I've noticed some of the wishlist, some are expensive and constantly changing with other expensive items. There are some very generous people in YoWorld and some people are really being blessed with that generosity.

I guess I am really indifferent to it, but I'm likely to never have a wishlist of my own. It's hard for me to put things out there that I wish for with the possibility of someone just giving it to me. That's not just on here, that's in my real life also. I'm really a "if I want it, let me buy it" type person. If I can't afford it, I will do what I can until I am able to buy. I could never just let people constantly give me all things I want.

Hahaha...I don't want to publicly name and shame *the player* I have seen do this- but anyone up for the 1m pm with the name and if its the same one - YOU WIN

I can only imagine the sob / hardship stories that would flood if we were to name said player coz that's all I have seen of late.

People can have many wishes I don't have any problem with that but I have to admit that super huge lists usually push me back when I am gifting that I honestly don't know why. It's just the way i feel can't name it.

Also another thing I personally believe, that gifting is gifting. I don't see it as donating or a charity-ish action. A player doesn't have to be a noob or poor in order for me to send them a gift. As in real life I don't avoid giving a gift to a friend just because they are rich, I do the same in yo. Why I'm explaining this, because sometimes ppl tell me why are you helping that person they are not poor... I'm like ^+%^+'^+%^!?? LOL

I hate them, but if they must exist they belong on the wishlist where I don't have to see them. The signature ones will never be gifted by me.

I can relate. Idk why it bothers me so, but when I see a player have a siggy that contains their "wish list", see that they receive said wishes, change it and put new items, it just comes off as greedy. Or when they do the same thing in the wishlist section but have 20+ items that are all worth 100k +. I just don't understand how people can take others kindness for advantage I guess.

Ikr....and another irritating thing is when same players with such huge expensive wishlists go into game and give it the Big I AM.

That's the one thing I love about these new forums that we can't hide in game as we used to when our forum accounts were separate from our game accounts. We can see everything and everyone now!!

I don't pay attention to wishlists, if i gift something it's because I choose to do it, and it will be what I decide ;D

Yes. I basically feel like that type of behaviour is having others subsidize your game play.
