In the old forum they werent allowed, but i dont know if its the same here.
I just dont see a point to post a personal wishlist.Theres already an offical wishlist and everyone should post there,to keep it clean. One post is Enough. I see people are posting their wishlists couple of times a day. They think they will get a better chance to recieve their wish items ? No,they wont. All they can get is negativity.
But this is just my opinion. Some may agree some may not.
have a great day !

unfortunately, if they are not allowed to post wishlists they cry and pout like little babies ... screaming how unfair it is that they are not allowed to ask, over, and over, and over again for free things.. ever changing wishlists are around as well... players have their wishlist filled, they just redo a new one..

they are not wishlists, they are shopping lists for people that do not want to spend money... it's equal to scamming if you ask me

Yeah I don't like seeing personal wish lists
Most of them people are so greedy when they write them
When I post mine once in a blue moon I post in the wish list thread

They are fine unless they are being posted too much. It gives a slight chance of someone getting something.

funny how those wishliists are things that are more times than not, worth a lot of coins, or are rare items... that's not a wish, that's a want.. and, like the rest of the players in the game.. earn it!

I had someone tell me they needed a personal wish list thread that way everyone could see it because posting in the (semi) official one wasn't good enough........

I never click those personal wishlist threads, it it easier to browse everyone's wishes in 1 thread.

I don't mind a reasonable wishlist. Maybe 4-5 items, maybe a hair that you missed or a handheld. But these siggy wishlists where people want you to furnish their houses with rares and clothe them in 08's and old bows and retros are appalling. I just pass them by. And to be honest, I think of those people as beggars or moochers. Sorry but there it is.

As someone who uses the Wishlist thread, I also seeing people double posting their wishlists and having personal wishlists and I don't really like it either...

That sounds true but on the other hand, I think like, why would someone wish for a cheap item that they can easily buy themselves already. I think a "wish" refers to something more unreachable for the person. Expensive or really hard to find.

Yeah, if you are just looking for a couple items or a missed theme is alright, but I know what you mean. Those huge lists with all these rares . It's just too much.

This is a good point too. If your looking for a bunch of rare items though, that's a bit much.

"Usually", Over the years i have given away over 500k, prob close to 1m, to noobs and various yocash items.. you shouldn't judge a book by its cover because you don't know what the person has done in their past.

My rants on wishlists got me banned a couple of times. So I will go "Rant Light".

'Wishlist' is a nice word for 'begging'. Players use them to leverage the kind and generous hearts of good Yos. When someone satisfies a 'wish', and then gets the stroking post about how thankful the person is, it makes me want to hurl. The psychology at play is putrid for both people involved. One is greed. The other is pride. Both are wrong.

People can play the 'wishlist' game if they want, but they will be wishing forever if they are depending on me. ;)

Personal wishlists dont bother me a bit. I simply never go over to that section of the forums. As a matter of fact until I saw this thread, I had never been over there since the beginning of the new forums.

@ Lallie Boo
@ Flatch Ulater MYP

I know & agreed. Some lists literally scream "I want anything and everything just whatever I can get for free" Gives the gifter like 32984290932423 different choices so that makes sure it is almost guarantee getting "something"

Siggy wishlists are another story.
