I don't mind a few timers eg if there are some older themes in and they close it off with a 20% discount because it allows things to become valubale but Zynga closed themes every week or so!

I would spend time clearing out the stores and keeping only the remaining open sections
I would look into making a Yoworld Site with some of the old features like profile management and the sections for shopping, splatting, and checking whats in our different homes and rooms. Plus I would like to add a whole new section that took information from across the game for every trade made (in game and in AH). This data would be passed into a database with relevant images of items sold and update the Median percentage price for that item. I would even make the calculation required to take the percentages taken by AH to make the over all Prices reflect what the sellers actually get in their hands.
I would look into how the avatars are implemented in the game, and consider selecting a few more successful designers, who showed the most commitment and promise, and look into ways of utilizing them to create art work that's tailor made for the game avatars. I would get a few on board and show them exactly how to make the art for the game, so we didn't waste time recreating everything from their designs. I would make artwork too and demand the team make it all work in game. I would probably then drive the the game forward into Oblivion.
There's so much I would want to do and some of it BVG are probably doing anyway. So I wont bother listing everything I would do. However another long term thing I would do, once the important things are sorted, would be looking into how if possible to utilize the artwork from Yoworld to use in a future production that took Yoworld out of Adobe's Flash environment and away from Facebook. Things like this dont happen though if the money aint there

I agree but I'd ban anyone who complained about the Helicopter price

Id continue listening to the customers wants but make sure each clothing theme had an equal part of male/female items...I just dont buy the current demographic analogy
I would create exotic collectibles expensive and on 24 hour timers to level out the greed in 08 09 pricing and have other items sought after as wel
There would be dedicated staff browsing events and perm banning MAC addresses for blatent TOS violations....by banning the MAC address the issue of alt accounts would end quickly
Id have tiered collectibles changed monthly for purchasers of Yocash
Anyone not supporting my game financially would have no access to list or purchase items from the Auction House but still be able to look thru
