Actually I wish they'd do away with the ah. It use to be a lot more fun when everyone went to events. And I can remember having sales and people would pop in left and right. And it was so much fun. I met a lot of my good friends that way. And now events are dead. If you have a message box sale or just a sale outside your place hardly anyone comes. It's just not like it use to be.

I have noticed the difference now with in game sales events. What I have enjoyed is the rise in closed auctions. For a period it was only open auction events that were being posted.

Ah has been very useful for me in an way. I went to almost every sale and no one was selling heroes stuff. AH is selling heroes items but just the small ones but did get some items that found hard to get in sales and forums!

depends if it came with something else  the AH is cool in my opinion, but not cool enough to be stand alone paid for

Only if the current AH was enhanced and improved is when I am suggesting a premium would be paid :)

I hate going to events for buying or selling. I find it absolutely no fun at all. I just want to be able to buy and sell without worry of a scam or dealing with rude people. I exclusively use the auction house.
I do wish the auction house would work better, I know they will get it with some time.

First I will admit that I didn't read all the responses. But we already pay a commission and I wouldn't pay more than that, I would just come and sell on the forums instead. I think once we are given more ways to earn coins in game the AH will slow down a bit. But who knows...

Open Auctions would always be full to the max, and now it you have to repost the event a million and one times to get a semi decent auction going. I guess it isnt as fun aa before, but the AH is very useful for me sometimes, other times I can't find what I want anywhere and I get annoyed lol.

No. I don't mind in the least buying yocash to purchase premium items in the game. I don't mind paying yocash to "premium" list an item in the AH. I don't care if BVG puts a VIP program in place, although I won't subscribe. But the minute i have to pay for the AH (which is the main feature I use) or pay a monthly fee, I'm out the door for good.

No...we already get taken 10% off the selling price...and the bigger the item the bigger the cut ..
It would be better to use a filter for all the in game coin items that are being crammed in there with no point whatsoever.....those items are the ones giving the trouble.

My suggestion is not that players would play twice. The logic comes from all players who use the AH paying for it regardless of whether they sell their item or not as that is only when the commission comes into effect. More players are using the AH than items being sold.

This might go down better if you had 2 options, like their other game: X amount of free listings or unlimited premium listings for a nominal fee (non refundable).
