I personally never sell gifts. If I get something I can't use or already have I will gift it forward but I have never sold a gift. Once I give a gift I don't really worry about what someone does with it, I figure it is theirs to do with as they please once I click send.

Normally when I gift someone I tell them if they don't like it sell and get something they want. I think sometimes I do that just so if I see them selling it won't bother me so bad lmao

Yes. Especially if I can make a lot of coins. I usually make an event and sometimes I see the person who gave it to me at my sale. I tell them that it's my item and I can do whatever I want with it. And then I kick them. Kidding

Personally, no I don't. Though I would not be upset if someone sold something I gave them if it helped them along in their enjoyment of the game in the long run.

A few months ago, when Yoville was on the demise of being shut down, I gave away everything. Not naming names, but this girl had a sale the next day with everything I gave her on the list. I felt cheated, and was more careful and who I gave gifts to.

It is so super wrong to sell a gift! For real....if you do not like it or want it....then give it to someone else. Yokarma hahaha if someone does something nice for you like gives you a gift, then you should not try to profit on it... if you do not like it very much...surprise someone else with the gift.

I have to say I have never sold a gift, even when I really needed the money. I still have the very first gift I got on Yo. (It was scented candles from someone at Alton's). If I have two of something I may give one to someone who wants or needs it. In my mind the one I am gifting is the one I bought…lol. I don't really mind if someone sells something I give them though. If they don't want it then maybe they can get some coins for it and it is still a gift from me. What I don't care for is if they ask for something specific and I think they really want it and then they sell it. But that's just me.

thats just not how i think it should be- selling gifts is beyond pathetic.
even if i am really in need for some coins, i look at it like this ' someone who cared enough for you- parted with their item, that they may have found after a lot of trouble... only to make you smile'. so even if after keeping the gift for a long time and getting bored with it... i keep them as mementos because one look at it in my inventory and it will remind of the whole turn of events.
my first gift was a Moroccan day bed in red color back in 2010 received from this fine lady, Brandy.
it was the first time i had posted in the wishlists and also my first gift. dont use it anymore- its kept in storage but i cant think of selling it.

I don't sell gifts either. Then again, I rarely sell anything unless it's something I bought a dozen of to be able to sell....... then I may sell 1 or 2 - lol.

I only sold 1 gift and that was after my friend and I had a huge argument and being fair my friend also got rid of everything that I gifted her after I haven't spoken with her for a while anyway

I think selling it right away is wrong.

But if months down the line you decide you don't like it anymore or something and sell it I'm sure most people wouldn't be too bothered depending on the situation they gave it to you.
Eg: if you have it on a wishlist then I do think its wrong to sell it.

...me got only twice gifted since I've started playing...stil have them...won't selling them...

...a few days I gifted someone a hair...wasn't sure if its really the correct app link...
...so I waits for a short ty or whatever...no msg came...I guess it was the wrong link... :lol:

I got gifted the heroes twin baby green and saw someone in trading who needed it but when tried to replay saying I have one. he already got it. Posted on wishlist thread anything from heroes theme.

I got gifted couple off surgery items the blue mask and glasses also the x ray from heroes and something from yosurvivor that I will never ever sell. I mean never because not spending days finding them again lol
