OMG THANK YOU!!!! I don't even know how or why I had these but I had 2 of them. They are now hidden behind a mountain. I checked in my inventory box and they didn't show up but in the gem room when I clicked on add seating button they popped up.

A seating item is a piece of furniture that is designed to allow people to sit or recline. Examples of seating items include:
Chairs, Stools, Sofas, Bean bag chairs, Chaise longues, Recliners, Ottomans, Bar stools, Footstools, and Rocking chairs.

But chairs and benches dont work. They had to have the word seating in them.
I finally got it done by taking seating out of old rooms I had finished a long time ago, and hid them behind a tree. I had to use a lot of items from the Shabby chicmas theme, because that gave me a lot more to work with.

but if you try to put in a chair or something that can be sat on... the event Will Not count it.
I am not playing this challenge because I do not have $8000 in Yo Cash and there is nothing in "Seating" available for coins.
I agree with Soylent Blue - I don't like, nor would I buy any of the items listed in Seating. They don't fit the challenge.
I'd rather save my YoCash for items I really want in my homes rather than a chance event and get a 3.8.
Designers - not funny. Please reconsider items needed for our creativity.

I had 2 fall sectionals for seating and thats it. There is nothing to decorate this room with in this theme. I used the windows and tree from the free house as my 3 themed items. I always try to make a good room, on theme. But this is a bad theme.

I just saw this on Discord and am going to ask the same question I asked there: What does that mean for those of us who completed the challenge with the seating and put no reindeer in since now the reindeer is a requirement? Does that make our entries invalid now? Also, I used "seating" from my inventory and didn't buy any, so I'm not requesting a refund. But for those who did buy YoCash seating for this, now that the requirements have been changed, will they be refunded?

I'm glad this was fixed somewhat quickly, but I feel like this is just another one of many oversights and some folks might get screwed. Are you going to automatically award gems to anyone if their entries are invalid because of the requirement change or will we have to submit a ticket? This is beyond the pale.

As lisaTM said what about those of us like me who completed with the seating requirement, will we get credited too and ours be able to be voted for too, and therefore a chance at winning the yocash should any of us been able to full the boost bar to 0.8 and then possibly getting a 5.0 in the votes to make 5.8 to get the yocash ?

Totally agree with everyone else here! Just came on here to see if anyone posted about this subject, and they sure did! I too am not doing thus challenge, its ridiculous that the coin items are 8000 coins, never going to buy those just to enter a challenge! That is way too much, definitely not worth it for me! You need to rethink your challenges, people are going to stop doing them. Also this time wasn't much of a break between different gem events. I personally wanted a longer break.

I dont understand why there are limited items to use to decorate this room .... usually there are a couple of lots of items you can use to up your points to try and get a good score .... but apparently this time there are only Y$ items or large trees for 8000 coins .... bad form .... people have commented that they had to buy the Y$ items and it cost more than getting a 5.8 in the room scores .... surely this cant be right .... you have to spend more than you can actually win ... and thats provided everyone likes your decorating and votes for you ...

when you release a new theme ... how about also releasing at least 2 lots of items in that theme to use in the rooms ... and lets make them a bit cheaper as not everyone is rich enough to have Y$ to buy all the items that technically can only be used in this theme to get points for decorating competitions ... once you move on to another theme they just become items in your inventory ...

I would love it if occasionally you could use past items in a similar theme and get bonus points when decorating with them, so that you can get to use all the items we are buying to decorate every time they change the theme ....
