Luckily for me today I actually got a good score 5.8 woohoo go me! But I did put a lot of effort into it and am very happy people liked my room! Thankyou to those who voted for me.

and know that I totally agree with what you told her , especially about not getting discouraged, also because I fear that many votes have been infected by the change of item seating and reindeer..a real shame!

I am seriously questioning the whole "Voting" thing. I've been watching scores for the last 5 or 6 decor challenges. Something is seriously messed with it. Not long ago I got 5.8 3 times in a row, and then 5.2 3 times in a row how does that even happen?



I realize BVG has to budget for the GE on how many players can hit 5.8 but the scores seem very odd for this to be random. I know that Cosmo got 3 votes for sure. Me, Loie and me again. ends up with a 4.9? Dandi, I do think your room is cute but a 5.8? Tilly, a 3.5, how does that even happen. There have been a couple 5.8's I've seen in the last couple GE's that have made me go Hmmmmmm.

Here are the three rooms I got 5.8 on. The first one maybe worth it. The other 2 wth how?







The only thing I can think of after watching the voting thread and the score threads is, our player ID's are tagged for how often our rooms show up in the the voting rotation. This is why I said before there should be a timer on the room. If you go to the room, add 5/6 items and hit the submit room within a few mins your room should drop to the bottom of the voting pile. All of us who actually put time and real effort are in and out of the room multiple times or get lucky with no refreshes and can be in there for at least a half hour or more. Those rooms should be up higher in the voting rotation.

yeah i think we're on some kind of a rotation that makes our rooms seen at prime time player time, or middle of the night (bad times) and the number of times our rooms are seen may vary as well, i'm just guessing. i know in the past my scores have been clustered like yours, more like 2 in a row though (not 3) and the scores tend to go low and then go high, like a sinusoidal wave. lately my scores have not been as predictable.

the first couple years i could win at least one challenge per month. then i went through a phase where i won one challenge every 2 months.. then it became one challenge in every 4 months. STILL others were reporting not winning for years at a time. the whole thing does seem like luck most of the time.

anyway, there is something about the way the program runs that is on a cycle. i just don't know how it works and they will never tell us.

oh and I didn't vote for Cosmo's room, you did and I quoted you. i wish i had seen it!

Oh LOL I just looked and yep you were quoting me. I just wish it was more fair for the players who put time, effort and money into their rooms. I feel really bad for Tilly, like how does that even happen.
