I just remember in my earlier years starting yo.. this happened to me a lot before knowing of priceguides and realizing how much I had lost was a real let down. Ofcourse I got over it, and I'm sure he will.. but just try to think of others before yourself in these situations.. say hey, he's new, 100k would mean a lot to him and could get him on his feet and I have things I love and have been around for awhile, it wouldn't hurt to help him out. Just be kind to everyone and always try to think of the bigger picture. :)

Alright I will. Lesson learned guys. Just please stop with the hate, Im a very sensitive person..

Not to offend you or anything but I think that's a low thing to do. I was at altons a few nights ago when a new player had the burlesque hand held cash and he said it was for sale. A player wearing rets and holding a cupids bow asked how much and he said offer, the player said 50k and he said ok. Before they could buddy u to trade I yelled "NO WAIT IT'S WORTH WAY MORE THAN 50K I'VE SEEN IT SELL FOR 1 MILL COINS." To which the buyer responded yeah that's what it really sells for. I think it's awful that players are doing things like this to newbies.

Reminds me of the complex that 'The rich want to be richer.', and it's so true.
It seems as if those with so much money and possessions thrive only off of the feeling of getting more money, apparently at any cost.

That is an issue with new players. They are gullible, and that is why they arent getting much coins to be richer, because players fool them.

Definitely not something I would've done. If someone were to tell me to offer on an item that I had knowledge of it being worth around 350-400k I would've offered at least 350k. Going rate.
Offering 20k? I would feel like I was cheating someone out of their money and that's not something that I would want happen to me. I don't mean this in a offensive way but that was pretty low especially to a new player who's just starting off. As for all the hate, you opened this onto an open and public forum. When things like that happen, people will put in their two cents.

i don't understand why you started the topic at all. You say you "feel kinda bad", then you said "I personally dont feel like it was really all that wrong", and then you say you "feel guilty".

Personally,i would feel bad for doing that intentionally (and by intentionally, i mean buying something for such a low price that you know is way more than that). That's the sad difference of how this game is played now, versus how it was when i started back in 2009... everyone has their theories on the "Yoeconomy", but what really happened is that people back then were not as greedy as they are now. It's kind of sad seeing items selling for ridiculous sums of coins, when we could all comfortably afford nice items if we collectively dropped prices and ended the greed. I'm glad i buy things for the joy of actually having them, and not as a status/wealth symbol for others to see, or for the future amount of coins it'll bring my way.

When I think of all the people that helped me when I first joined, I feel humble. I remember when I bought my pink yohat. The seller, one of the big dealers wanted 20k. I scraped until I had it. He asked me how much I had and when I told him 20K, he told me to hold back a couple when I paid. Someone else knew I was unable to get the pink and black flapper outfits when they came out - no funds - so he gave me one complete set of each color, including gloves and hats for 12K! And just a couple weeks ago Violet game me the Fun interactive unicycle.
I have tried to pay it forward but frankly, I don't feel I ever can do as much as they did for me.

She also stated the other day that she enjoys selling gifts, I looked in the Wishlist thread, there she has her wishes. I was going to gift her some items, but I remember her saying that she'll eventually gift them away. LOL! Not to judge, but come on now...
