to me rich is friends,family and how YOU treat others.If you treat others with respect ( a word todays kids don't understand) Your rich ,if you have others who care about you that you care about your rich.I have met some very great people all because of thjis game,I feel like they are my very close friends,We follow each other 's lives on facebook and I feel rich just having them as friends.I don't need to have 10 million coins here in game to be rich I have a great game family.

To be considered "rich" you need to have the following:

1. a holier than thou complex
2. an 08 costume
3. a good handheld (preferably three of them; for example, a cupid's bow & arrow, a knobkerrie and handheld money.)
4. retro specks
5. a rich posse.

Nevermind the coins you actually have in your account because nobody can see those. It's all about seeing and believing!

It's ridiculous, really.

The only people I ever kick are the people who ask me if I want to get freaky or beg subtly or not... lol.

I dont have a huge invo, or a bank full of coins,but i do have some great friends here. So i consider myself rich.

seriously... i have no idea what they mean by "rich" and who ever started it. i have been playing sing 2009 and back then, it was never an issue. the problem is, they are not playing for the game anymore. it makes me mad.

Adding this. Prior to Big V taking the game over, this place was full of kids all decked out in the ritual stuff - rets, cupids bow, turkey or Menorrah hat etc. etc. I never considered them rich. For one thing, most of them were kids and they belonged to gangs and many were wearing cloned stuff. Now we have people who could be wearing f/g stuff. Either way, they can't sell their things. Kind of silly, isn't it.

And at events, I treat everyone equally. People frequently tend to prejudge the "newbie" avatars with basic clothing, without cool hats&accs because of those beggars and scammers using alt accounts.

Today a very funny thing happened to me. I was having a salle and a "noob" looking girl came, as I treat everyone equally, I welcomed her like everyone else, answered her questions, even bought a pink preggers dress from her. Then she asked a few items' prices, they were cheap stuff I asked 40k for 4 pieces. She agreed and said "You are so nice to everyone, I like this so I am going to pay 50k" and I also want to buy this this and this. Well, I said ok, one at a time, I will grab them too. Then she poofed.
Obviously, she was trying to make me take all the items in my inventory and have to place them again after she poofed. She wanted to piss me off that way. I have no idea why.

It's hard to understand ppl. And those who do such silly things are generally noobs. That's why people are treating them bad. Because most players have had enough of their sillyness. Shortly, they have a bad reputation. And this effects innocent, good noobs too.

Friends, Good morals, Respect, and Good Attitude Make you RICH! Not costumes and coins! Yes its nice to have these cute costumes that are rare but it don't make us any better than other players! Some people are clicky and mean on purpose. It is hard to find decent friends but when you do its worth it. People who like control and have kick tests are just rude. Ignore them Luv! There is good players out there and its not what we dress in that makes them good!

I prefer to look mismatched and ugly instead of wearing the same thing everyone else does. You walk into an 08 auction and everyone looks the same. Boring.

in fact I have been known to even sell items that become popular with those that like to dress alike and hold events where people are kicked for being noobs - you do realize that was designed to get those that were interested to bid high - to avoid being kicked and missing out.
