one can argue it's a scam and one can argue it's capitalism. It's how the real world works.

If they have a lot of badges then they may not be a NooB !!! Be careful what you buy and who you buy from.

Just a major heads up that's all.

How is that a "SCAM"--- if you don't know what you are buying it's your fault... ( kind of like in real life, shoppe around, look in the stores).

I agree with you here. This isn't necessarily a scam. If you're getting caught up in one of these events and find yourself paying for an overpriced item then it is indeed your own fault. However, these people do know that these items currently exist in stores for all to buy, therefore they're taking advantage of people who may not have a full understanding of "check before you buy". Either way, they should be stopped. :D :twisted:

Yes it's immoral, But why should they be "stopped"?
Sorry, but by your definition(they're taking advantage of people who may not have a full understanding of "check before you buy") ANYONE who is selling anything above the store price would be a scammer...

@Karma YED -
As far as I know, selling items for more than they're worth is not against the rules as all players will believe that an item is worth more or less than the next. However, I do believe these people should be more honest and sell the items for the same if not less than the currently available prices in store. But as you have said, selling these items at such prices is not against the rules(as far as I know) and there is no immediate action that BVG has to take.

I just wish people would be more honest! :)
