The items were unreleased. AKA, they were not supposed to be in the game in the first place, and you knew that when you purchased them. It's not like they're re-releasing old items like Zynga did... they're bringing items into the game that have never officially been released.
If you spent millions of coins on an unreleased item and now you're pissed that they got released, I don't feel sorry for you one bit.

But... but ... but they lost their only chance to "be someone"! LMAO

Thanks for the unreleased. I esp love the sci fi couch and armchair. Can you denote which items are animated? The previous company always marked them so we know like in this case we'd know if snow machine does sthg or not

It does actually light up.... just doesn't make snow.

You know what? I'm not complaining at all. I'm happy they did it. I think it was the right thing to do for the game. Even though I lost coins and knew the risks. But the "I told you so" posts are getting as much on my nerves as the complaint posts.

The snowball machine is like the waterballoon machine.

Back in 2009, I believe, Z turned the water balloons into snow balls. Anyone remember that?

Well the snowball machine was concepted to do the same thing as the wbm did? Refill snowballs faster instead of water balloons. Since it was never actually released and/or we can't throw snowballs now, there is nothing for it to do besides light up.
