I sell a lot of low end items for Yocash and it adds up quick.....but occasionally I drop 50 bucks to support the game

I sold my hero costume five times than it was re released. So I was happy to get it back again but have since sold it again hahahaha. Coins can get your items back like rl all things materialistic are replaceable. So don't worry just go for it and GL.

It's an important decision. I personally wouldn't do that. I mean I would hate to sacrifice many items for 1 clothing item. Obviously you can't reach the enough amount by selling freebies and other cheap stuff. You need to part with a considerable amount of good items you once truly wanted, worked for, chased, bought...

I think, many people who don't have a pair, (I don't have too) tend to exaggerate the idea of "owning retros" in their mind because it's a popular expensive item.

Just sit and imagine that you actually have them right at the moment, you are wearing them and half of your inventory is gone, and your coins are gone. But you have a pair of shades. So what?

Not trying to be negative, this is just my opinion. If you really really want them more than anything, and if you think it's worth it, then of course just go for it.

I've bought and sold blue rets twice let me say this they ain't worth it they distort the face and half your eye sits out

I would wait to buy them, you still have to sell your stuff in the mean time either way.

But give it a few days, if you don't see the price go up - you won't...wait about a week.

I figure on waiting til it goes back down to around 12 before rebuying.

Retro prices have always been cyclical.

My problem is I like to decorate so I'll buy things to decorate with then have a hard time parting with anything because I may need it for another project. Case in point: I bought up a lot of Legends things during the re release because I had a theme in mind for the home I just bought. I didn't have enough room for all of it so there it sat in storage. I considered selling it but then I started my Mermaid Castle and when I couldn't get any Fairytale Fantasy or Underwater furniture I went with another angle, I decided to use stuff that a mermaid would pillage from sunken ships. So I went back to my Legends storage and started pulling out statues and vases, etc. Things like that are why I'm reluctant to sell off my horded items. I never know what I might use.
