I also play Donkey Kong Country 1, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Zelda 2 Adventure of Link. I play Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3 over and over again, they're my favorite games.
However I refuse to buy an xbox or a ps3/ ps4 etc. Gotta stop somewhere. New games like COD just don't interest me much. I don't mind the bad graphics that came along with older games. and some how Yoworld it self kind of sweeps across the bases of my interests in a way that other games would otherwise provide. Interesting huh.![]()

Old games are the best.
Call of Duty, Halo and new generation games don't compare at all to the older Zelda games (pre Wind Waker -- I was not a fan of WW at all...)... loved Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros (Super Mario 64 too<3), Spyro, etc etc... and then there was a game for the Super Nintendo called "B.o.B" ... I was addicted to that game for a long time too.

I am a pc gamer for life tooI also asked the same question back when were on FB community but nobody answered lol
From your list I play;
Cod: Ghosts
Cod: Black Ops 2
StrongHold
But I don't play COD online. When I finish the main scenario of any Call of Duty or Battlefield game, I just move on.
I am a huge The Sims fan, waiting for TheSims4 now. It will be out in September!!! YAY!
The latest I played Watch Dogs (it got too boring bec of repetetive missions through the end now I feel too lazy to finish it lol)
I also love horror genre. Played the whole Resident Evil and Silent Hill series. Also played tons of other horror games that I just can't make a list here now. The last horror game I played was Murdered: Soul Suspect. It wasn't great but it was a new idea, playing as a ghost.
I like adventure games too. You knowi point-click, solve puzzles etc.
Sometimes I play NFS when I get bored. I love gaming way too much for a girl lol

I agree with you and Robot, old games do rock even though my generation kind of started with Gameboy Color, I have played old games as well.
I disagree on Wind Waker being the end of the good TLOZ games. To me Wind Waker was the beginning of the franchise! Sure, older ones are not bad besides the lack of nowaday graphics which is understandable but Wind Waker was a free Zelda world with a nice story and really, worth a spot at thetop 5 games of all time! I respect your opinion but Zelda actually got me hooked on tv consoles like only games like Last of Us and Brothers: A tale of two sons have. Wind Waker to me is, I think, my favorite game of all times.

I'm obsessed with Silent Hill. Only the first 3 games though. I've beaten them so many times, have all the unlockables etc. Granted the movies sucked, and the games started going down hill on an epic scale when the original Japanese devs dispersed and left the brand name in other people's hands. Just my opinion though. But glad to see someone else who's beat them. I've also beat Resident Evil 1 through 5. The seconds and third ones were my favorite in that series.A horror game you may have played or you may want to play is a little known gem called Obscure. It's pretty similar to resident evil and silent hill. I would not recommend the sequel though, Obscure 2 kinda sucked.

I agree. New generation games are for the kiddies these days so often. As for zelda I stopped playing them before they even became 3D. I'm only 25 though, don't let me look too old here yet LOL. I remember B.O.B!! When I was a kid in the 90s I had a super Nintendo, and then sony playstation 1 hit, so that was my actual true generation of gaming, I remember playing Crash Bandacoot, Tomb Raider 1, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, all the games that came out in the mid to late 90s for PS1. Then I never really evolved any further from there console wise. I've got tons of friends who are all foaming at the mouthover the modern, current games, and sure I play 'em when I visit, and it's cool and all. But Nope, oldschool gamer here. If anything.
