To be honest I say out with the old in with the new. Everybody has a chance to obtain items that were discontinued and still in the game. To do so is also an excuse to play the game, make sales, hunt for your item, hop events, make goals etc. All of these things are a direct result to older themes leaving the store with a player's unfinished business being one reason to play the game. It's pretty much straightforward. You want an item that has left stores, you play the game to retrieve it. So for that reason alone I don't think old themes should be unlocked, I would rather see the old shops get removed if they've been locked and discontinued.

DEFINATELY YES! I play to decorate and socialize, not make money. I dont have time to wait months to finally find a single item and be charged 3 gbdzillion dollars for it.At least a temporary opening of the vaults.

I just want them gone...out of the stores so we don't have to look at them.
It takes so long to scroll through all the fuzzed out themes to get to the ones we can actually buy.

I want them gone... gone... GONE!!! BVG already said no rereleases... so all those themes are doing is mucking up our game. Get rid of 'em!

Social doesn't pay BVG's bills....The Vault Keeper will keep the doors sealed shut. Majority say no atm.

I agree that some should return. It was very unfair towards the end of the game with Zynga. How about a vote to pick the top 2 out of 10 themes to return? Pleasing 90,000 players vs the 10,000 (that I would be included in the latter) who would lose money should be weighed.

It has pros and contras , you know?

Some are making profit of them now with their value of prices , when they are back they will lose profit.
Some other will be happy to finish their home with the items they wanted.

I think they should be unlocked. OK, maybe not the mafia ones or some of the re-released ones but those of us who play to decorate have been slapped up and down nine ways to Sunday. The newer ones that were rushed out and discontinued should be unlocked for sure. At the bare minimum, wall panels and floor tiles etc should be put in the depot. I'm so sick of having to hunt for a plant, chair or floor tile. This game definitely favors those who want to hoard up their precious "rares"

They should unlock all the stores mainly it will bring all stuff down. If you want to resell something it would have to be under the price of store. Plus BVG makes money selling yocash and people will buy their own yocash and bring rates down with it. How much coins does a person need in game? Yo turned into yogreedville.

What about people that cant afford to buy yocash? What would they do when they have no one to buy yocash from? If you make it so everyone has to buy their own yocash, that turns it into a pay to play game for sure. If I didnt need coins to buy cool stuff that is not in stores, why would i sell you my yocash?
Its easy for us to sit here and say bring it all back and stuff will be cheaper, but as Nyx pointed out earlier, what happens to the people who cant buy YOcash? Do they have to go without?

I voted no. If everything was released again, it would take away a major part of the game. We wouldn't need trading or auction events at all. It's fun to save and search for things. I edited to add I think all the closed stores should be removed. It would make shopping easier.

Actually I remember Zynga started to do that once upon a time. They left some rugs, floor tiles, bushes, trees, some other decorative items such as glowing leaves from enchanted theme..etc. But later they didn't continue doing that.

That will be a an excellent solution for decorators. When each theme leaves, rugs, plants, wall elements, windows, trees, bushes and seating should be put in to yodepot as decorator supplies. That will be awesome!

We had this conversation on the FB page and the most fair way to go about it is to move forward but have constructor items in Home Depot that never expire. The pieces that can fit into any theme etc. Various colors etc.

I do wish they get rid of them in the store. It's so hard to navigate and see what's for sale.

Who said "everything" ? We are talking about just the themes we see in store as shadows.
