WOW this is completely outrageous that we are ALL punished for the stupidity of some...to the point where they shut us all down and erased our work! WOW! i am beyond disgusted and outraged. this is a joke. i could cry right now.

BVG has let down everyone who has used paint boards for good, including one of my friends who used YW as a gateway to memorialize her son (Frederick John Cox) who was killed in the attacks of September 11th, 2001. How dare you take this away from her... We have all spent money in your game, we invested our time & effort so that the game could stay afloat, and what do you do? you don't go and punish the bad people; you punish everyone for what a small group of people have done on here. I have spent thousands of hours on the game to memorialize forgotten voices, people who died in tragedies or disasters or even players of your game who have passed away, all that effort has gone up in smoke because of a few bad apples in the game. You don't care about your players clearly, and whomever led the decision to cut the feature from the game without any notice or wait should step down from their position, your incompetence has led to the demise of YoWorld as a game. I was in the discord server yesterday and Vikings were making jokes & being disrespectful to those who literally pay your salary, this game has turned into a disgrace. Thousands of players who have made this game a beautiful place have been betrayed by those that run it...

yikes i own some of that...but.........I find it humorous. It's like Jessica rabbit funny. So I'm not casting stones at bvg. It was their lack of not listening. When I told them to watch it, that parents had in the states made organized attempts to control the sexualization of their children. I don't think anyone would to seen it end with paintboards being erased. Or that it's even connected.

The sexualiztion of teens is a hot ticket item....I see how BVG could be unwitting and innocently been lead into a false sense of security about racier items item......there might be to a few that wants to control and manipulate game play; this gave them an angle. A way to take from BVG in ways they feel bvg took from them. ( after all, looking at bra tops and lack of any wimsy. Very adult tradition styles. No Sci fi.....asking for sexy and hot items to wear. Repeatedly == to me I feel with little effort you can start to see patterns )

This game has been struggling along and I'd be sad to see it end. The screenshots are a way of preserving it. All of life is fleeting so appreciate what you have while you have it. Don't know what else to say on this heartbreaking issue. Again, I am really sorry for those who lost real images of loved ones in rooms that meant so much to them. Any room that people put their hearts into feels like a big loss. Hugs to all.

I thought of you when I saw this happened. Your work is pure art, I have loved everything you have created. The level of creativity you put into every aspect of your rooms was jaw dropping.

I hope Yoworld can survive this. It sounds like it was a decision to lose the paint boards or lose the entire game.

Our team is extremely aware of the way Paint Boards are used.
if this is the case then you were aware of what was happening,so why the swift action? remove ban player and remove their content not ours

Our team is working on a solution for this particular issue. This situation involving Paint Boards is complicated, but we have a lot of faith in our team’s ability to resolve this issue.

as always "your team is working on a solution-is this the same way they "work on solutions for ongoing issues in game??

We all seemed to be punished for actions you knew were taking place as you state in a post-take action against the players you already knew were in violations not everyone on yoworld.

wasn't a tough decision and to take action so swiftly means you had to hurry up and save your own ass is what I'm thinking

If hurrying up to save their own ass means saving the company and YoWorld, then they did the right thing, as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure none of them is happy about this.

YoWorld was actualy healing for me: I had a stroke in my brain and COVID x2 it left me with a foggy brain and i used YoWorld to help heal my brain by playing to help create new neuro pathways ... also Mental Health healing by rooms i have created! its just so sad to not beable to use the paintboards anylonger for personal expression!

I wasn't wearing a bikini when I posted that, if you were smart you'd know that are avatars are updated in this forum when we change outfits. (And yes, I am going to wear bikinis to the beach as long as they exist in this game) You COMPLETELY missed the point of my post, which is that BVG are the ones doing the over moralizing by deleting everyone's boards! BVG has NOT refunded us for our boards either!
