Off topic... but on topic (lol)

I guess I just never understood how a new player comes in, and their first goal is to own an '08 costume. When I see that... especially on the Wishlist... a red flag goes up! Firstly because you have to wonder how they even knew about all of those items. Second... how they knew not only how to find the forums (took me a good 6 months), but to list every rare, expensive item out there, as their 'must have's' or 'OMG's'!

Finding forums may be a little easier now... I'll give them that. But to know EVERY expensive rare item out there... and only in game a day or so? And to list them in their siggy... or on a wishlist... and usually their very 1st post no less??? PLEASE!!! I have been here for almost the duration of this game, and I am still seeing the occasional item that I didn't even know existed!

I said, keep all old stuff in store until daily user count go above 1 million active users... I did not say anything about NEW BVG releases. Their stuff should become collectable, old Zynga stuff should just fade in to background.
BTW dear, there is only about 800 daily players as of right now playing this game.... Do you think BVG can sustain it self on 800 players?

When a thread turns into constant rehash and people start bashing each other, it is time for it to end. You had a certain intent when you posted it. Declare your intent satisfied and ask that it end. Tell people to start another one if they want to start bashing and accusing.

I have to go make lunch. Watermelon wrapped in Serrano ham with Queso Fresca, mint, hot pepper flakes and olive oil. Maybe followed with a cup of corn chowder.

Would you really pay $68 for a costume?

Peter...I wish I knew exactly how much my daughter and I have both spent on this game. We went wild for the longest time but we have the money to spend. We stopped spending so much after the game started taking a dive. And once bvg starts putting new items out. I'll feel like here we go again. OPENS Wallet lol....unless they ever re-release. I won't spend tons of money on something that everyone in game can have that easy. I love the collecting aspect of this game. I don't treat anyone different then anyone else in the game. I'm not like that. I do of course love to collect and have goals. If they take that away by re-releasing. Well then it takes the fun out of the game for a lot of people.

I believe you when you say you have spent crazy money on this game. I would also be as vociferous as you are on this issue if I had done the same. I didn't so my viewpoint stems from an altogether place.

Thing is, there are many people that play this game in different ways and the trick is to find the middle ground, a balance where people from all walks of life can play the game, where it is fun and affordable to all. The current yoconomy does not favor new players, unless they are very rich new players. By having a yoconomy that is not attractive to new players, how will this game survive in the long term. The game needs more then a few "whales", to use zynga's term, to keep the game alive and cover it's expenses. It needs some tadpoles too.

I didn't put words in your mouth that is what you said ... of course the old forum is gone ... but everyone remembers you and your daughter being the BIGGEST speakers out against rereleases and the tactics you BOTH pulled.

And again I'm against rereleases, and again you Willow, Vivilan and Adeline are feeding the question as even Pete pointed out a few posts ago. And another thing my dear...bvg has just begun. Zynga is the one who tossed all the customers away. People like you aren't even giving them a chance. And another reason we're down on players is there were tons that got banned. It's just something that had to be takin care of.

Yes and BVG said that they have no intentions of re-releasing and that it was unlikely. While that does leave the door open, it also means that as of this time they do not plan on re-releasing anything. If people respected them then they would respect that and stop asking for it and give them a chance to put out their own items.

If themes are open and had some yocash items in it, then it is allowing people to buy those items worth yocash at anytime. This keeps a steady influx of people buying yocash because they have access to more worth yocash.

Having all the themes in the store didn't bother me at all. It just gave me more to choose from. I mean it would have been easier just to have a search bar in the edit room mode for the stores. That way we could get to the theme we wanted faster.

That's why I wish bvg would reword it and put...there will be no re-releases. That's the only way to settle this. I think they only worded it the way they did. In case they had no other choice. So in all my heart I don't believe they'll re-release.
