It would still take a while to decrease his 11m with 25k hairs.

Let's say that theres a theme 4 hairs each 25k, clothing totalled up is 100k. Thats 200k each theme, 5 themes 1M. Plus there are others with way more ...

And even they follow Z's model, that's 5 months worth of playing to deplete my coins less than 10%, not even including the fact that maybe those hairs expired and one of them becomes deemed the next big thing and sells for 1m.

I've now gone through 5 months of hairs that I've acquired all of, but one, for nothing.

Ah, but they aren't following Zynga's model, are they?

They will release themes, and if the majority like it, they will continue releasing more for that theme, but lets say the majority disliked a theme? This would mean that themes could now possibly last less than what a Zynga theme normally lasted, which was 2 weeks on average. Now, maybe they won't remove the theme so quickly, maybe they want to give it another chance, I don't know.

Haha yep me too. I have nothing compared to some others.
And I agree with you AG&Rain. People also pay real money for YC, They can deal whatever rate they want. If you want the item and cant find good prices, buy it.

Well, we also have another factor to look at = New Players!

If the game is successful, the amount of new players could outnumber the amount of old players, and people would still have to lower their prices, to make business, do you think that they would want to keep their prices up hoping that one of those possibly soon-to-be mythical players with over 100m coins pops in and buys it?

It may be a small way of doing it, but it might snowball.

I honestly don't care how much "I'm worth" based on my items. and I don't think in those terms of concern for myself...However, I have no problems or complaints with the yo-economy as of today. Even when hats or handhelds are 15 mil I certainly ain't crying about it, nor campaigning for a redux. I enjoy making goals and successfully or unsuccessfully tracking "rares". I enjoy checking priceguides only to see what items I have missed over the years, and maybe would like to own some day. I remember when my first yo-goal was to buy a Thunder Bolt makeup back in 2010 when it was worth 75k. So I saved up and got one and I was pretty excited about it until I realized it was attributed to Lady gaga and then the accomplishment fizzled out a bit  Anyway... I like the game how it is now, it doesn't hurt to have older themes or obscure releases be a bit harder to find. imo. As for the Yo-economy or YC rates, I think things are totally adaptable. imo.

This is a perfect example though, Robot. You worked for something and you got it and it meant something to you. That's an important part of this whole thing. If everything was just handed on a plate, what would be the fun or sense or accomplishment?

I am a goal maker too. The thing is, when you say you don't want re-releases you are automatically lumped into the "greedy Yo's who don't want to share pixels" category. If everything was in the stores, what fun would that be? I like to hunt things down, other wise the game would be boring to me without goals.

Oh trust me, same here. It's a treasure hunt, and that is one whole half of the game to some of us. and it's not even about greed or value of any given item. At least certainly not for me! When I am the one who is the hunter or buyer paying the prices for items that I actually like and want, how does that make me even in charge? lol. Like i am at the mercy of the people who are hovering the item over my head anyways. so no, I do not agree that those who enjoy the hunt are greedy people who don't want to share pixels. We are treasure hunters who are the ones dealing with the so called greed half the time! LOL

And their way of fixing it, seems to be semi-punishing older players just because they've been playing a while and have potentially accumulated a bunch of wealth.

I'm not the first person to say this, but the way they could have fixed this would have been to completely wipe out all coins from the game citing some error in the code Z gave them and they were sorry but they couldn't restore nor can they possibly recreate coin totals.

Much like they did with some of the items people said went missing on them.

Sure it would have upset some people but the majority would have been accepting of the above and still been here now.

Robot, when I see you in game, I never ever think "Oh there is that guy who has that hat" or whatever. I just think "There is Robot, cool dude, proud to call my friend"...that's Yo. Stuff is just stuff. :)

No actually that would have caused a mass exodus. Seriously man, not a good plan.

It also would have put consumer confidence in the crapper, and killed any chance to fix this game.

No ... :P Just should have kept the ban of the hackers and coin sellers and taken all those coins out of game. And any legit items they had put on AH to absorb more coins from the players. Anyways most items that went missing weren't really missing they were either in another place or had been sold by people during that time that room edits weren't saved.
