Can we please just move on, and let BVG do their job? We begged them to take over... and all that has happened since is DIVISION amongst the players, and constant complaining to BVG that everyone wants things done Zynga's way or the highway? Zynga left us out there to be run over!!!
Then they probably should have phrased as some players instead of just players ... hopefully in the future they will refer to the fact that it is only some players.Veronica (122961678) wrote:Tiger Lily (128332896) wrote:I don't see it as ignoring the other side. I thought about that too. May be they don't want to use Zynga's items anymore, but on the other hand, all those unreleased & hacked items were also Zynga's. So I don't think they have a problem about previous items being designed by Zynga.
Yes, it is a bit ignoring. Basicly ignoring the wish of those who need those re-releases, willing to spend money, and granting the wish of those who want the items stay discontinued so they can make profit.
On the other hand, they might have other reasons, such as legal issues, reasons due to their business plan, etc. that they prefer not to tell us openly. Then I would understand that.
But saying that they understand importance of item rarity for players, sounds like as if they don't understand the other players which I want to think that they didn't actually mean so.

As for the design questions, all I can say is PATIENCE!!! Gary and Greg have both posted that it was more difficult than they originally anticipated to find GOOD (repeat: GOOD) 3D designers. They have recently hired two, with more to come..they are looking out for the BEST for us..they aren't willing to settle for anything less. We all will see new furniture and decorating items VERY soon...just let them run their business and enjoy the ride.
May I also suggest, if anyone is curious at all as to how much VISION and TALENT this company possesses, try out one of their other very popular games (like FISHWORLD) ...you can see how much they care about quality and diversity.. and the design elements of that game, in particular, are spectacular.
It may help pass the time for those of you who have itchy decorating fingers...

Yeah... it could be a million different reasons as to why they aren't. Releasing those unreleased items, is a whole different ball game. This was to even out the YoEconomy.
Just be patient... they are most definitely going to do right by us. We have to trust that!

I don't know. No matter what, even though I like this game, personally I am an unhappy customer at the moment seeing that after all those efforts trying to explain ourselves, they are saying nothing is going to change. I don't think I will ever forget this let down with the whole group of players who really wanted those releases.
As I started that huge thread, I want to say I am sorry if I caused anyone raising their hopes.
And those who are on the other side, congrats, you won. BVg is on your side. Just go celebrate and make some more profit. WTG

Those are collectibles. No re-release.
Viking John wrote:Hey everyone!
I've seen a lot of discussion going on recently about bringing back older released items. I made a statement about this previously, however it was within a topic that's definitely no longer near the front page to be viewed.![]()
I wanted to post this here so everyone can get a definitive answer on this subject.Hey everyone!
As it's been stated a few times in this thread quoting Gary's interview with YoRehab, if any item has officially been released by Zynga in the past we will not be putting it back into the game. Accidental releases such as the Menorah Hat are different, as they weren't an official release.
All of your 08 and 09 costumes, retro specks, and all the other valuable items that have been released before are not going to be re-released. As Gary mentioned, we understand the value of rare items and want to keep it that way.
If you see people posting 'rumor' threads about releases coming tomorrow or next week, if it's not a post from one of us then it's exactly that, a rumor!
I hope this helps clear things up for everyone!
