My giving, excludes beggars. I found they're never satisfied with what you give them & only want more.
Just my experiences.
I get more pleasure to gift the unsuspected.

I just been begged for coins that I have worked hard for by faithfully playing this game and not begging even for 10 yocoins. I'm a giving person in rl but I refuse to give somebody in YW my stuff that I paid for without expecting something back. I have friends in my buddy list I don't associate with why should I give you the satisfaction when you most likely do the same?

No. I don't think it's right. And it's not only happening in game. It happens here... a lot.
I think people that beg for stuff, post sob stories for sympathy which = being gifted, are "looking" for the very specific item listing its theme, color, and how long they've been looking for it, complain how expensive specific items are, complain how expensive YC is and how they can't afford a specific item, want re-releases so as not to pay inflated prices for very specific items... are all some form of beggar.
Subtle or outright...it's all the same to me and I think it's shameful. Does no one have self respect anymore? I wouldn't be caught dead asking for something. Anything. Ever.
People who enable this behavior by gifting the items, are really no better. Enabling negative behavior doesn't make someone a hero. IMO, it makes them a push over. Right or wrong, it's how I feel.

Eh. What's right and what's wrong is relative. I don't necessarily think that begging is "wrong," just opportunistic and manipulative. It's not something that I have a whole lot of respect for. As a couple of ladies have already said, enablers run rampant, so why wouldn't someone beg if they know that they can get something out of it?

Agreed, wouldn't be the first questionable thing done here in the game

People talk about scamming all the time. You know, those who take advantage of others in game are not tolerated according to BVG, so why should it be tolerated here? I think when people come here and post their sob stories, fake tragic events and illness, it is no different than scamming people in game. It is all manipulation and it is shameful.
