'Wishlist' is a nice word for 'begging'. Players use them to leverage the kind and generous hearts of good Yos. When someone satisfies a 'wish', and then gets the stroking post about how thankful the person is, it makes me want to hurl. The psychology at play is putrid for both people involved. One is greed. The other is pride. Both are wrong.
People can play the 'wishlist' game if they want, but they will be wishing forever if they are depending on me.

Most of them people are so greedy when they write them
When I post mine once in a blue moon I post in the wish list thread

I agree and disagree... Not saying I'm a great person because I used to be not a great person! And I probably took advantage of wish list years ago, I think it's how someone goes about it! I mean all week I've wished for eyebrows. Today I wished for a face mic and someone to click the link to my think positive thread to spread kindness. BUT there are the people who have a list longer than the list of my entire inventory that's filled with 08s and the rarest rares and they might as well just put "anything worth more than 5m please" I do think that wish lists are begging in some cases, but in all cases I find them lazy.. I could easily get everything I wish for by buying it and usually If I have a WTB thread and something becomes hard i put it in wish list too just to hope but I wouldn't go as far to say it's always a bad thing. If you get someone who doesn't take advantage of it you've got a great situation of 2 happy Yo's being happy and helping out!

they have wishlists in siggys ... and what really caught my attention, was one player had in their wishlist in siggy "looking to finish this set" .. well the set from store has 3 pieces.. and so did that players wishlist .... "looking to finish a set" , to me, means you have part of... some of.. this player didn't have any of the 3 pieces, yet worded it needing to finish..
that represents wishlist more times than not! .. want, want.. and want for free

Hypothetically speaking, of course.. if that were the case, I'd feel that they were a manipulator and a user.
