There is nothing wrong with trusting people...in this case it did turn bad. But imagine a world (or YoWorld) where we have no trust and suspect everyone. I myself have loaned valuable items in rare cases...I knew the risk and I'm happy to say the items were returned to me as promised.

Matt, don't give up on people. Be careful, yes...but there's plenty of great folks here and new friends to be made.

Come on by to one of our forum parties sometime and meet some folks.

Gothma? It's a game...this is NOT reality. I trust my friends in REALITY...and considering on how suddenly he's got a NEW MAFIA BAT? Hmmmm...seems like I was right. As for name-calling? LOL! You are in clear violations of the rules of this forum...Sound you just set yourself up for a ban

You have no friends in this game you trust? As a side note, he has a new bat because I sent him one. He trusted the wrong person. I think we have all done that at some point. I don't believe he posted this thread to be gifted. If I had thought that, I would not have sent it to him. I have played a long time and know what people are capable of, but sometimes you just have to believe that people are not being dishonest. If I am wrong then it is his karma, not mine. I think he was truly upset that a friend betrayed him.

Sorry that happened to you. What you can do is just move on and be happy that a person who was not a real friend showed his true colors. I don't think that BVG will reverse the trade or whatever but it's good to know that you don't have a friendship that would've been over an item.

Well calling him a noob and implying that makes him stupid by default, I find offensive. I think THAT attitude should be banned from game.

The rules also state that you should treat someone with respect. I can appreciate that you don't believe him. It is hard to know who is being real in the game now. But saying he was stupid and calling him a noob wasn't necessary. I think he was being honest and going on that premise, I am sure when he reads what you said he won't feel any better about trusting someone he thought was a friend. I lend my stuff to my closest friends all the time. Honestly, losing pixels would mean nothing, losing trust would hurt and matter a lot.

LOL Now you are all concerned about the rules! After calling the op an idiot and a noob. If I get a ban or suspension, I will wear it proudly! You are not the first little meanie I have come across and you won't be the last! And YES it is just a game! But betrayal hurts just as much in a game as it does in real life. Yep this, I have loaned stuff and will continue to loan stuff to those have always proven they are trustworthy.

Losing that trust I have in them, would be more upsetting than the item loss. Hopefully now his faith that some fellow players are still good and decent people will remain.

Its not strange at all. I think your attitude deserved nothing less than to be called that. You were being one. Hence, I have no problem with you being called it rules or not.
